Harry's P.O.V.
We were all sat around the dining room table, waiting for Simon - our manager - to come over with the latest news of our sucess. Micaela was to my left, with Niall and Brigit facing opposite me. He would give me dissaproving looks every now and again, obviously annoyed with how I'd met his lovely friend. I say friend, but I know it's more than that. They're so getting it on tonight...
*Knock, knock, knock* my thoughts were interupted by a large hand thumping against the front door; Uncle Simon!
"Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!" Myself and the other boys couldn't run to the door fast enough, Zayn got their first, flinging it open and engulfing Simon in a huge hug. The rest of us following his lead; it soon turned into a manly huddle.
"Hello boys." He spoke in his most professional voice, whilst his lungs attempted to grasp the oxygen around us.
We let him go, and sniggered at how he clutched onto his heart dramatically. This is what we loved about him, he's himself around us, the 6th member of One Direction.
"Okay, joke's over. Time for business." He walked through the rented appartment like he owned the place... Oh wait, he did. Oops.
"Yes Uncle Simon." We all sang in unison, following him into the lounge area.
"So, are you enjoying your time in Leeds? How are the girls?" He slumped onto the nearby couch.
"It's great here! There's so much to do and see!" Liam smiled like a kid in a candy shop. "The girls are having the time of their lives, they're here now actually. GIRLS?" He called through to the dining room.
They all walked in nervously, except Danielle, who had already met Simon.
"Good afternoon." He stood up and greeted them. "Ah Danielle, looking lovely as ever." He kissed her cheek, she smiled cutely at him. "Eleanor, Perrie and Micaela? I've heard so much about you, you're all even prettier in real life." He ushered for them to take a seat. I gave a thumbs up to Micaela, who grinned back eagerly. She was starstruck, without a doubt.
"Oh, who's this?" He looked over at Brigit, her knees were shaking, bless her.
"Brigit, my, er, friend." Niall's cheeks flushed bright crimson.
"Nice to meet you, sir." She said, her shy self spilling through her whole body language.
"You too, my dear." He extended his hand to her, she shook it twice, before Simon kissed her cheek; as he had done to Danielle.
Niall's P.O.V.
She was so insecure, I could see it in her eyes. I gave her a reassuring nod, before we all took our seats in the 'board room'.
Although we were still in Leeds, management felt that we should still be promoting the band. Which sucks, because we're not promoters, we're singers? But it's all part of the job I guess...
"Here's the bottom line, boys" Simon began "your fans went absolutely mental for 'Up All Night' and they're so eager for you to make another album. So once you're off your break, I'll need a new song from you."
"How soon?" Louis enquired.
He sighed, extremely reluctant with what he was about to say. "A week after you've arrived back in London."
We all exchanged glances.
"Are you being serious?" Zayn moaned.
Louis piped up "a week? What? How?" He began pacing the room back and fourth.
"We're still new to this Simon, what are we going to write about?" My voice sounded really strained, kinda like a strangled cat.
"Anything." He replied simply, re-clipping his briefcase and making his way to the front door. "Goodbye boys, and I'm sorry about this." He shrugged.
We smiled weakly, less enthusiastic than when he got here.
I suppose we had to be grateful though, I mean, we're lucky to be getting a break at all. And Simon's let us stay in his AMAZING apartment. We owe him everything.
"Don't worry guys, we'll find inspiration somehow." Liam remained optimistic.
I just kept quite and strode into the kitchen. Maybe comfort food would help me take my mind off things?
Brigit's P.O.V.
Was this a dream? I'd just met THE Simon Cowell; AND shook his hand. Holy fudge cakes!
I knew all about Niall's career now, he had filled me in whilst we were walking back here. I'd asked because I was sure I recognised Harry from The X Factor. I didn't watch the show much, but I remembered that particular episode from 2010. One Direction were huge, even I knew that. I just didn't pay much attention to music; apart from Professor Green (who I have a slight crush on). There were magazines, posters, the whole nine yards. But I never stopped to look at the faces. And now I'd met all of them, without even realising who they are. Most girls would kill to be in the position I'm in...
But they lived in London, and I live in Leeds. I could never get close to them, it'd be too hard to say goodbye. I need to get myself out of this situation fast, before my heart gets broken; again.
