Louis' P.O.V.

"Ey, shake, shake, like you're famous girl. Head back, lay it down like a VEGAS GIRL!" I blurted out the lyrics to 'Vegas Girl' at the top of my voice.

"Jesus, Louis." Niall covered his ears.

"Haha." I grinned mischievously.

I pulled into the left side of the busy car park. A busy car park means a busy beach, and a busy beach means a lot of screaming fans. Something which I wasn't too eager for today.

"LET'S DO THIS POO!" Harry yelled, his maturity really shining through, (note the sarcasm).

We all jumped out of the campervan and ran down to the glistening, gold sand.

Niall's P.O.V.

Brigit was sunbathing on the towel next to mine. She'd changed into her turquoise bikini, and she looked stunning! It complemented her green eyes perfectly, and showed off her figure to a T. I wish she was mine. I've only known her for a week, but I've never felt like this about anyone else. She makes me laugh without meaning to, she makes me feel better about myself without realising it. I'm sick of being the 'single one' from One Direction. But I can't make myself like another girl when I already like Brigit. She just wants to be my friend, but there's no reason behind it. I don't know why she won't give me a chance. I could make her so happy...

"Niall? Helllooooo, Niall? OI!" My thoughts were interupted by Brigit poking me with a stick. Trust her to find a stick on a sandy beach.

"Hey, that hurt." I whined, before she erupted with laughter.

"Good." She smiled proudly. I pretended to look betrayed, which sent her into another fit of giggles. "Only joking, Nialler!" She patted my head.

"I know." I smiled, but it was forced.

"What's wrong?" She asked, noticing my changed mood.

"Nothing, I was just thinking..." My voice trailed off as I looked into her eyes. They always had the same effect on me, I would just loose all capability to speak.

"About what?" She enquired.

Do I tell her? But we're at the beach, I don't want to ruin her day... No, I can't keep secrets.

There was just one word I needed to sum up all of my thoughts, and make her understand "us."

She looked towards the sea where the others were playing beach ball. I wanted to go and join them, but I knew this conversation was more important.

"Niall, there is no 'us'. We've been through this."

"No, we haven't. You want us to be friends, why? Why can't we be more than friends? I don't understand. Can't you just give it a try?" It might have sounded a bit desperate, but I don't care.

"No, I can't. You're really sweet, and any girl would be lucky to have you. Go find one of them." She stood up and walked towards a path leading to the main road.

"I don't want another girl, Brigit. I want you. What are you so scared of?" I regretted my words as soon as they'd escaped my mouth.

She turned around abruptly, her eyes brimming with tears. "I'm scared of getting my heart broken! How do I know that you're not using me? My other boyfriend did. I don't want that again."

So that's why she wouldn't let me in. I wanted to get her ex-boyfriend right there and then and punch him in the face. How dare he use her. What a low life.

"I would never do that." I said solemnly.

She shook her head "bye, Niall."

With that, she continued her walk down the main road. I couldn't help but let a few tears roll down my cheeks. It was at that moment, that I realised I couldn't live without her.
