Ethan's POV
Our mom came in our room to wake us up. I don't think she was expecting for Elijah and I to sleep in the same bed. I think she was thinking Elijah and I were just spending some time together before we went to bed."Oh," our mother whispered. "Well this is so cute! I need a picture of this before they're up."
Elijah was laying on my chest and I had my hand in his hair.
"Okay," our mom whispered. "Let's actually wake them up now."
I heard her say that. I decided to scare her a little.
"Hello, mother," I whispered back.
"Ethan!" she whisper-shouted. "Well since you're up, do you want to wake up Elijah while I go get you two your breakfast?"
"Okay," I responded. "You can go now. I'll get him."
Then our mom left our room again. I slowly picked up Elijah and hugged him until he woke up.
"Elijaaaah," I whispered. "You have to get up now."
"Fine," Elijah said rubbing his eyes.
"Are you going to be tired all day? I can give you a little wake up kiss," I suggested.
"No, Ethan. I'll be okay," he said in a grumpy tone.
"What's wrong?" I asked, rubbing his cheek.
"I wanna sleep," he said, annoyed.
"Aw, I know. I do, too. You'll be okay. I promise," I assured, giving him a kiss.
"I'm hungry," Elijah said.
"Well, you just woke up, so that's what I'd expect," I said sternly.
After we left our house, we got on the bus and went to school. Elijah went straight to his friends and dragged me along.
"Hey guys!" Elijah said to his friends. He was pretty much friends with everyone. There were some mean people, but he had a lot of friends to focus on. Whenever he talks to his friends, I just stand there. I feel like a Tagalong cookie.
"Hey Elijah!" his friends said in unison. He has one really close friend. Her name is Ira.
"Hey Ira!" Elijah focused more on her than any of his other friends. Oh, and he also has a girlfriend named Addison. I don't really find the need for a companion when you're thirteen. You should focus on you grades.
"Hi, Ethan," Ira said.
"Hi," I said quietly.
We all walked into class. Elijah walked with all of his friends and I just walked along with him. Elijah would do anything to protect me, and I'd do the same for him. Ira and I were walking alongside Elijah, and Ira decided to start a conversation with me.
"How are you, Ethan?" Ira inquired.
"Pretty okay. Last night was nice. I got to spend a lot of time with Elijah," I said, trailing off a little. Ira, Elijah, and I have been friends since we were six. It's just that Ira is more Elijah's friend. Or that's what I think, at least.
"What do you mean?" she asked, unlocking her locker, which was right after mine.
"We kept giving each other a bunch of kisses. Elijah was really cute. Elijah wouldn't leave my bed, so I let him sleep with me," I gushed.
"You mean you didn't kick Elijah out of your bed?"
"Nah, he kind of wouldn't leave anyway. I didn't force him to leave, nor stay," I said walking into class with her.
"Alright class, sit down," the teacher announced. Another day of learning, hurrah.

I hope you guys are enjoying the story so far. I'm enjoying just updating. I plan on doing weekly updates, but right now I am on a spree so... yeah. I plan on introducing Addison on the next chapter as well.
