"May I present Grace Dots, our town's supernatural lore enthusiast and my second best source of income", Jason announced as he stepped to the side to reveal the girl herself. Grace had shoulder-length brown curly hair, and bright brown eyes. Her face looked soft and her jaw line was smooth. She wore a dark blue t-shirt with a magnifying glass in its center. As well her pants were semi-tight jeans with slip on shoes. Sam also noticed that she looked to be his age. Grace gave the still chewing Sam a small wave,"hi, your Mr.Jason's nephew right", she asked with a smile? Realizing he looked quite the fool Sam struggled momentarily to swallow his mouthful of waffle. Upon swallowing he stood semi-awkwardly and made his way to the door, extending his hand. She took it in a simple motion,"Grace Dots", she said giving a simple curtsy."Sam Éntrinte", he said as he shook Grace's soft hand then stepped back. Jason eyed the two highschoolers' slight nervousness with a parents joy." You two are going to get along fine", he stated warmly as he lead them both inside. Heading to the back hall of the house Jason ushered them into what appeared to be his office. In which many files and papers were stacked upon his desk. Jason danced idly to behind his desk,"last week I gave you the Incubus stuff right", he questioned the young girl. She nodded and handed Jason a vanilla envelope,"got anything new on werewolves", she asked as he took the envelope. Replacing it in the cabinet Jason searched through till he found what satisfied him. "Actually, yes", he said as he handed Grace a slightly larger vanilla envelope. Grace took it and rummaged around in her purse smiling and pulling out two twenties and giving them to Sam's uncle. Sam, curious about the exchange, gestured to the envelope."So what is this "lore" all about", he asked? Jason smiled,
"Essentially Grace here loves this towns supernatural lore. I have a very private collection of it and give her access for a forty dollar fee. That usually gets her off my back for a few weeks." Grace turned to Sam and gestured to the files on his uncle's desk,
"I really love supernatural lore especially creature based lore, it's my hobby slash obsession you could say", Grace smiled as she shook the envelope in the envelope in her hand." My personally favorite subject is Lycanthropy", Grace blushed and averted her eyes from Sam's,"that basically means anything related to werewolves." Sam smiled at her awkwardness, it was a trait he himself dealt with.
"That sounds pretty cool", he encouraged. There was a brief silence as the two teens understood their mutually shared hindrance. A silence that was quickly destroyed by Jason. He thrust a hand on each of their shoulders, a fiendish smile on his face.
"Yes, it is cool, do you know what would be even more so", he asked in an manner that suggested something very one sided was about to occur? Both of them having known Jason Éntrinte for at least a year, were far too afraid to respond, as it may provoke an answer. Basking in their fear of his infamous unpredictability, Jason gently pushed them both out of his office all the way to his front door."How about you tell him more about the lore of the town, and show him around town. Maybe introduce him to some other people his age you get it, in exchange next visit is only twenty dollars. Is that a deal great awesome." Jason tossed their shoes at them from the shoe bin and closed the front door behind them.
Grace and Sam looked at each other, confused."So I guess you'll show me around town, I mean if that's all right", Sam was unsure if he was asking or making a statement. Grace Smiled and eased her shoes on,
"Sure if you don't mind stopping by my house first", Grace displayed the folder Jason had given her."I want to drop this off." Sam nodded,
"that's fine yea", he nodded and began to put on his own shoes, not wanting to keep his new acquaintance waiting. Once done the two set off towards the dirt road that bisected Jason's driveway. Upon looking around, Sam realized that his uncle's house was slightly isolated, it had at least a mile of woods surrounding it. There was a house in view from his driveway though it was at least half a mile away.Grace led Sam onto a back woods walking path that lead to his uncle's house, though they were walking away from it currently. The thickness of the tree tops was enough to provide good shade, however it didn't create enough darkness to create a ominous atmosphere. Sam was following Grace about a meter behind, he'd been observing his surroundings in silence but felt that said silence was spoiling into awkwardness.
