I went home, and when I got in the house I saw Hana cooking in the kitchen.
She was smiling at me.
"Oh you are here already, kaif al-haal?* Have you eaten already? Do you wanna eat with me?"
*How are you, in Arabic*
I didn't say anything.
I just took the chair and sat across the table then started feeding myself and ate with her.
She was gonna say something but I cut her, "Let's eat first."
So she just ate.
Right after we were done eating I went to her room directly, Hana's room.
Yeah, her room.
Are you guys surprised? LOL
[This is how Yassin wrote the story so whatever with the LOL and you know.. ✌]
I think Hana was surprised too when she came into her room and found me there.
"Why are you here?"
I didn't asnwer.
I didn't understand what she said, I wasn't fluent in her dialect back then.
(T/N: Guys, Hana spoke in dialect and the guy didn't grew up in that city so he knows another dialect so he's not fluent in Hana's dialect)
"Why are you here?" She asked again in a dialect I can understand.
"Is it bad? You're my wife anyway, right?"
She was gonna get out but I stopped her.
"I thought you wanted to talk with me? Let's talk now,"
I stood up from where I was sitting, went to the door and locked it.
"Speak now?" I was telling her to talk now that I'm here.
Her breathing sped up and turned red.
I know she was startled and nervous.
"What now?
Don't you wanna speak?
What did you say in the call again?
Talk in the language I can understand properly."
She stepped back a little, "Let's divorce-"
"When do you want to have a divorce?" I cut.
She wasn't able to reply right away so I walked towards her.
"I am asking you if when do you want it? Don't you wanna answer me Hana?"
"Whenever you want!" She suddenly yelled.
I was taken aback. She raised her voice.
"You are making me so crazy mad, Yassin!"
I was startled to see her tears flow from her eyes. She was crying already.
"Why are you like that? She was crying.
"I thought you have enough knowledge about Arabic and you know the rights of a wife over her husband!"
(T/N: when they say Arabic it means that someone is knowledgeable about the religion Islam and it's rulings)
I looked at her, at that moment there was no words that came out of my mouth.
I was so shocked to witnessed her act like that.
***
I woke up early. When I got out of my room and passed by her room, I noticed that she's not there.
