Thoughts raced through her hed, "What if i never find her?" and "Is she even still alive?". Sence the day she lost her best friend she had similar thoughts that never seemed to stop.

"Kayla, hunny, come down please! You have been upthere for days! Why dont you go for a bike ride? It is beautiful outside!" yelled her mother.

"NO! What if the samething happens to me that happened to Amasha?" she screamed at her mother. Kayla had been at the neighborhood park with Amasha, her beat friens sence 2nd grade. They were chatting about going to the gas station near Amasha's house to bother Kayla's older brother, when an ice cream truck pulled onto the side of the road. It wasn't the normal bright green one with what seemed to be billions of funny bumper stickers, it was a new one. this was light pink with spots of a color that could only be described as "yuck!". They walked over to the unfamiliar truck.

"A small dish of oreo dream with caramel please." Amasha asked the man in the truck. He was a normal looking man while looking over the menue, the man was probably about 20-25 years old. While he was dishing the frozen treat, Kayla, walked over to where she had put her bag so she could retrive her wallet. She heard a scream, she she turned around as fast as she could. her friend had vanished and the truck raced away, her friend was gone.
