*time skip to Sunday*

Today's the day.. The day I tell Kaitlynn's family.. It's been a couple days since her murder and everything is still fresh in my mind. I have already texted her family and told them that to come home a few weeks early. I'm still shaking from that day. It's all I think about. I can't eat, I can't sleep. I think I've lost a couple of pounds these last couple of days. I pulled out my phone.

Ciara:

Come home now. We need to talk.

Family:

What's wrong?

Ciara:

I can't tell you over text. It needs to be said in person

Family:

We're on our way. Be there in about 2 hrs

I put my phone in my pocket and went to the guest bedroom. I grabbed my favorite pair of black skinny jeans, a black tank top, my batman sweater, a bra, and underwear. I made my way to the master bathroom. It was a lot cleaner and nicer then the hallway bathroom, probably because my best friend was murdered in that one.. I made sure to lock the bathroom door and window. I started the shower, got undressed, and hopped in.

I washed my hair as I continued to think about Kaitlynn. She didn't deserve this. The police didn't find anything and her case went cold. I guess I have to be the one to find her killer. And I will stop at nothing until I get justice for what they did to my best friend. I heard my phone go off. I turned off the shower, jumped out, and dried off. I picked my phone up off the counter and looked at the text. It was from Kaitlynn's fiance, Junior.

Junior:

Hey Ciara. Do you know where Kaitlynn is? I was texting with her Thursday night but, she stopped answering. Do you have any idea where she is?

Ciara:

I haven't seen her recently. She might be checking up on her grandma or something. But, she forgot to take her phone. I honestly don't know where she is.

I know, I know. I should have told him. But, family comes first. I got dressed and did my normal hair (A/N: Ciara is emo btw). I walked into the living room. I turned on some Netflix and sat down. On the coffee table in front of me was a picture of Kaylea, Chris, and I having a water balloon fight in the front yard. We all looked so happy. I smiled as a tear rolled down my cheek.

I heard the front door unlock and fly open. I wiped away my tears as I stood up. Standing there in the doorway was her brother and her mom. I ran to them, hugged them, and broke down crying. They walked me over to the couch, sat me down, and I explained everything. Her brother didn't cry, he's not much of the crying type, but her mom started crying her eyes out.

"I'm so sorry I couldn't do anything to save her. I wish I would've heard something. But, it was all so quick and silent. I..." I trailed off. "Can I see it..?" Her mom asked. I nodded as we all stood. I slowly walked over to the hallway bathroom. There was still police caution tape blocking the doorway. Her mom walked to the bathroom and stood there, looking at where her baby girl was killed. She cried even harder and fell to her knees screaming, "Why God?! Why did you take my baby?! You should have taken me instead!!" I walked back into the guest bedroom, closed the door, and sat down on the bed. I need to find her killer.

A/N: Hey guys! Sorry that these chapters are extremely realistic and depressing. It's kind of the point tho. But, I promise that there will be some happier chapters soon. But, as for now, don't forget to vote and comment. Tell me what you think. And I'll see all you yeemos in the next chapter!
