After all of our classes had ended, Tré and I relaxed back in our dorm. He was laying on the couch attempting to do homework while watching TV, and I was sitting in the chair, fiddling with my guitar.

"Hey, what time is it?" Tré asked, erasing a mistake on his calculus homework.

Reaching for my phone, I clicked it on and checked the time. "It's 6:36. Wanna go out for dinner?"

Tré smirked. "Like a date?"

I set down my guitar and walked in the hall to grab my coat. "You bet."
Then I showed him my cheesiest smile. "Now SweetiePie, let's go."

He got up and slipped on his sweatshirt. Then he went up from behind me and pecked my cheek. "Why of course, BillieBoo."

Once we had called a taxi and rode downtown to all the best restaurants in LA, we got out, paid the driver, and stood before the romantic lights and palm trees that surrounded the night. Music could be heard from a distance, and the relaxing beat filled the atmosphere.

I took Tré's hand gently, and gazed out at the stars that seemed to twinkle beyond and above.

"Well, let's go!" I said excitedly.

Tré smiled cutely and I led him down the sidewalk of downtown LA, searching for a restaurant to eat at.

Once we had walked for a while, we wandered in this one pasta place. We decided to leave once we saw how pricey the food was and all the dirty looks we got from people wearing clothing looking like it cost a fortune.

Then Tré dragged me in this pizza place that glowed with blinking neon lights shaped like a pizza slice. It seemed pretty nice, and the food wasn't nearly expensive as the other place.

As we sat down at a booth by the large glass windows, we looked at the menus together. Tré said that we should order pineapple pizza, which he had never tried. I agreed with him and ordered us smoothies to go with the small pizza. I also got cheesy breadsticks, because why not.

After we had finished eating, we got up and Tré took out his wallet, but I pushed it gently away.

"Don't worry. My treat. I'm taking you out on a date, remember?"

Tré tucked his wallet away and kissed me on the nose. "Okie dokie, BillieBoo."

I blushed. He smiled at me and I smiled back. Slightly flustered, I quickly paid for the meal and walked out with Tré.

Then we stepped into the nighttime, and tried calling for a taxi. I guess nighttime is when lots of people like to shop, eat, or party because after 30 mins we couldn't get a taxi that wasn't already occupied. Tré suggested riding the bus, but we couldn't manage to catch one of those either.

Feeling distraught, we gave up and started to walk to the University until we could figure something out.

Tré and I walked through the city, now shivering from the crisp air and feeling less enthusiastic.

"Well, how long is walking going to take?" Tré asked.

I checked my phone for the time. "At this rate, we won't be back until at least 10."

Just then, I happened to get a text. I tapped it open, and saw it was from Mike.
