My eyes sluggishly open before i remember what had happened and instantly jump up, ignoring the sudden nausea from the quick movement. "Well you were right, i'm lucky you took a sip first or i'd be dead now." Will says, pulling my attention to the man standing in the doorway with some sort of test-tube filled with something barely fizzy anymore. "YOU TRIED TO KILL ME!!" i yell, crossing the room quickly towards him. "Cyanide. I found the entire bottle laced with it, so i doubt i'd poison myself since i was about to drink mine before you passed out." he says calmly, tossing me the bottle. I look at him confused before unscrewing the cap and sniffing it, instantly recognizing the scent as cyanide just like he said but also noticing something off with the smell. "Oh god how did i forget that he was still-" i say under my breath before noticing Will paying close attention to me. Without even asking him where it was i quickly scouted out the kitchen, scouring it for any evidence to my assumption while ignoring Will watching my every move. An annoyed sigh escapes my lips when i find a few clumps of dark brown- almost black- hair near the fridge and the nearest counter. "Just great...he's found what he was after." i say annoyed, turning to find Will right behind me. "Who are you talking about?" he asks, notching one eyebrow in suspicion. "No one." i state proudly, trying not to reveal my motives for being here. He sends an icy glare my direction before pinning me to the counter, holding my wrists to the cabinets below away from my pockets. "Whoever it is seems to want one of us dead, i think if you have any idea who it is i need to know before we get killed!!" he snaps, only inches from my face. "If you knew it'd only make your matters worse dearie. You can't know too much and escape this guy." i say, wondering if maybe i could figure out why the organization wants this guy dead. "I fight vampires and werewolves, i think i can handle a mesely human serial killer." he states with a roll of his eyes. My eyes widen in realization, he's practically innocent and knows something he shouldn't. This wasn't a threatening mission, it was a personal score between the kinds he's killed and him. "Well that explains it, how long have you been hunting them?" i snarl, angry with the organization's motives. "Five-six months, why?" he asks after answering the question. I sigh before easily pushing him off me with a displeased look on my face before fishing through my purse for a few things. "Here go douse yourself in this, i can't risk him sniffing you out and leading him to me." i say, tossing him a bottle of heavy smelling perfume i wear sometimes to hide my scent. He catches it while looking at me confused, after a few seconds he sighs and complies. Once that's done i pull off my long jacket and shove it into his arms along with a hat and sunglasses i had gotten from my purse, again something i used when being tracked by more powerful prey. "Put them on and lets get you out of here, i'm taking you back to my place for now so you'll be safe." i say, knowing i'll regret letting my humanity for a target interfere with a mission later on. He complies, looking kinda shady now with that on. 'They're so going to make me pay for this, good thing im a loner and can't die or i'd really be worried.' i think with a sigh before grabbing Will's hand and pulling him with me downstairs, hoping i could re-find my hotel from wherever we were now.
