Hello everybody, how are you this Monday? I hope you all had a wonderful start of the week and that it will continue on throughout the rest of the week :)

How are you enjoying Alesandese so far? I know that many of you aren't reading it because it's not boyxboy or maybe you don't enjoy the genre or storyline; that's completely fine.

I still hope you will give Alesandese a chance as it will develop into a more interesting story soon with action and adventure. Anyhow, please continue having a good say and-

Enjoy!

Dad is waiting outside by the car. He stands up straight when he notices me and puts his hands in his jeans pockets. I know that look – he's nervous. He knows I lost and must feel miserable and doesn't know how to act around me in this situation.

"Hi Dad," I say and accept the tight hug he gives me even though I hate other people feeling sympathy towards me.

"How are you darling?" he asks, a nervous tone visible in his voice. I shrug my shoulders.

"Been better, but I'll be okay," I answer and enter the car, waiting for Dad to do so as well.

The drive back home is silent and slightly awkward. Dad keeps sending me weird looks but whenever I look his way, he looks back at the road and does this weird tapping-the-wheel thing.

"Something you want to say, Dad?" I ask him, slightly amused by his actions.

"Alesandese I-" he begins but I interrupt him.

"Are you disappointed in me?" I say.

"Never!" he gasps and turns his wide-eyed gaze towards me.

"Dad, you're driving," I say with a teasing smile and turn his face to the road.

"Sorry, forgot," he chuckles and turns left towards our house where mom is surely waiting for us to come home. She probably thinks I won and awaits a happy daughter.

Oh, how disappointed she will be.

Dad parks the car in the garage. I grab my bag and make my way into the house.

"Dad," I gasp, dropping the bag on the floor.

"Alesandese?" Dad asks, walking behind me and stopping dead in his tracks.

The house is wrecked.

The furniture has been destroyed. All of my mother's antique vases has been broken. The pictures are shattered. It's all completely destroyed.

"Mom?" I whisper and look around wildly. I just want to see her in front of me and be assured that she is okay.

"Alesandese, stay here," Dad says and walks ahead of me, grabbing a piece of the broken vase on the floor. I put my hand on his arm.

"Dad," I whisper. Dad turns around and I'm shocked by his intense, almost, crazy eyes.

"Stay here Alesandese, please," he says, a vulnerable tone in his voice. I manage to nod my head and wrap my arms around myself. Please be okay Mom...

Dad walks through the ruined living room and looks almost frantic, "Melantha!" he yells. He walks into the kitchen and I follow him, trying not to step over all the broken plates, glasses and cutlery strewn across the marble floor. I wrap my arms around myself, my body is shaking and all I want is to see mom safely.
