The day passes by.
The Muslims are busy preparing their selves for Ramadhan.
Performing taraweeh,
reciting Al-Quran
and asking for forgiveness from the one and only, Allah SWT.
They are busy preparing or buying variety types of food for iftar.
Some even make or bought too much
and started to think how to finish them.
I'm standing here,
watching each of them.
Have they ever stop and think for a while?
There are people out there that don’t have anything to eat
for sahur or for iftar.
People in Gaza,
Palestine,
Syria,
Lebanon
and so on are fighting day and night to live our life.
To not starve to death.
And yet we are still complaining.
About how the food taste,
how desperately you want new things,
who became first
and some other silly things.
People there don’t even have time to think about all of this.
All they can think about is that
where their relatives are at that exact moment,
can they even pray peacefully,
will there be anything left for them to eat for sahur and iftar,
will they even be here tomorrow to continue this Ramadhan journey?
They are worrying every seconds of their life
meanwhile we are having the time of our life.
I'm not saying that it's wrong for you to have the time of your life.
It's just that try to be grateful for what you have
and not questioning for what you don’t have.
People never satisfied with what they have.
Why don’t you just for once try to be in their shoes.
How will you feel when this happens to you and to the people around you?
Your relatives, friends and even your soul mate.
Can't imagine that huh?
Because it hurts so much to see your love ones die in front of you.
Guys…
I'm not asking much.
Just pray for them.
Pray for their loves one,
for them to get freedom
and for their health.
It doesn't matter what religion you are.
If you care,
you pray.
They deserves to live and smile like us :)
