I'm Back (Finished)

Chapter 10 ~Josh

"It's so nice to see you Josh" I say happily. He was my cousins ex-boyfriend. He broke up with her because she cheated on him and after the break up he went to me for help. He obviously loved her, but she of course never noticed.

Everyone went back to what they were doing, but Theo was tense. I grab is upper arm bicep and squeeze it, in reassurance. I don't know why he was tense though.

Josh glared at Theo is pure hatred. Do they know each other? Eh, who cares.

Josh turns to me. "It was so nice to see you Rose. But I have to go." He gives me one last hug and walks off.

I turn to Theo, "What was that about?"

He looks down at me, but only has a few inches on me, but still does. He shakes his his head and I sigh but let go.

I really hope this party is over. I hate going to party's, especially wearing dresses.

Suddenly someone tapping on glass was heard. I look up to see a man in his maybe late thirtys holding a wine cup with a spoon hitting it.

"Hello everyone. My name is George Hanley and I'm the owner of this lovely home. Most of you don't know my good old sister, Carly Holls." he introduces himself. My mom comes up there with a bright smile on her face. She's basically best friends with this guy I think, because she's never mentioned him.

She held the microphone up and her phone in the other. She scans the area until her eyes land on me.

"Hi my name is Carly Holls. I'm a mother of 5 children and most of yall have met them. Except my two daughters, Rosemarie and Polly Holls." everyone claps there hands and I see Polly running up the steps to join mom. Mom is telling me with her eyes to come join them, so I do.

Polly came with another lovely couple because she hates limos. She always hated the big fancy things.

Everyone looks at me, before looking at Polly. Some stare at her in awe, while other people (mostly guys) stare at me in a gaze.

Someone hands me and Polly a microphone. Mom tells me to speak and I do so. Because it would be embarrassing to go up on the stage but not talk. That's weird.

"Hi I'm Rosemarie Holls. By I would rather be called Rose. I'm 18 and in my 12 year of high school, also known as my senior year of high school" I state about myself. Some people chuckle at my rambling. It wasn't really rambling.

Polly raises the microphone also. "My name is Polly Holls. I hate school and I'm very excited to be talking in front of people." She says. I roll my eyes and some peple are laughing at her cuteness. Or there laughing because they a mean.

Me and Polly go off the stage. I feel like it's very hot in here, so I go outside to get fresh air. I hear some faint footsteps but ignore them.

"You look tired" I hear a voice say behind me. I glance at Josh and nod my head before going back to gazing st the stars. "You look gorgeous tonight."

He comes over to me and hugs me. I hug him back a little bit awkward.  Then he pulls me into a kiss. I didn't really enjoy sense it was again my will.

I get away from him and he smiles by drones as he notices my face with disgust. He's nice and handsome and totally boyfriend material but I don't like him like that.

I look around a notice Theo watching us. He has his hand clenched in a fist and is staring at Josh with pure hatred.

He runs back inside and I roll my eyes because he can't be jealous.

"Who would you kiss me?" I ask I turn back to Josh. He shrugs and glances at the moon.

"I thought you liked me." He says before walking away.

Hey guys know you're probably like, sheaready kissed someone. Well I just wanted the chapter to end like this.
