When I get home I see a for sale sign. I look at it confused. Alex parks the car and I say a quick good bye, then head to the front door.
I go inside and and see my mom sobbing on the couch. I put my bag on the floor and go sit next to her. I pull her into a hug and she gracefully hugs me back.
Once we pull away I ask, "What's wrong?" She looks up at me and she wipes some of the tears away.
"Me, and your father are getting a divorce." She replies, still a sobbing mess.
I look at her in shock. They've always loved eachother or so I thought. They were the golden couple in high school. They have always been goals. My mom had Uriah when she was about 21. And they got married at 20.
"What why, what happened?" I ask, the brims of my eyes filled with tears.
"He cheated on me."
I pull her into a hug again and burst into tears. We cry silently. Maybe about 20 minutes later we pull away.
"What gonna happen?" I ask, hesitantly.
"You, Finn, and Polly, are coming with me to aunt Lillys. And then Uriah, and Nicolas are staying here." She says and stops crying.
"But Aunt Lilly lives in California. And we live in New York." I state.
"Exactly. We're moving." She says.
"What do you mean were moving?" I shout and stand up. She sniffles.
"We're moving to Cali." She says again. I roll my eyes and run up to my room.
"START PACKING!"

Once I'm done packing I head downstairs. We're leaving first thing tommrow. Uriah and Nicolas were devasted, so there coming with us. And are dad didn't care, apparently.
"Guys come down to dinner!" My mom calls out as I start preparing the table.
All the boys come running down, including my dad. He will still be living here.
We all eat in silence. But i notice the boys throw dad some nasty looks and glares. Polly doesn't know anything, other then were moving.
Dad throws his fork on the plate causing us to look at him.
"Why are y'all glaring at me?" He asks. We share a look and know what his means. He doesn't know that we know.
"Maybe if you didn't cheat on mom, then maybe we could be happy!" Uriah yells, his hands curled up in a fist.
Dad look surprised before glaring at our mom.
"You told them!" He booms. I grit my teeth together.
Polly pulls at my arm. "Why are mommy and daddy fighting?"
"Polls, go up to your room. Now." I tell her and she nods before running up to her room.
Nicolas, Uriah, and are dad are all yelling as me, Finn, and Mom watch this go down.
I stand up and get in front of our dad. And everyone falls silent. "Go, live with your side chick. We're fed up with your lies!" I yell.
He huff and storms out of the house.
