Lin Kuei

Yu Yang quickly boarded up her house.As she heard the horses coming hooves hitting the ground. Her newborn started crying. Yu Yang quickly calmed her down. She layyed her baby quickly in a basket as she got on her knees and prayed.
"Oh Gods my baby please my baby I plead please save her help her deliver us." As she prayed lightning struck her house. Her eyes grew wide as she saw Raiden the thunder god appear in her house. She quickly ran to him and pleaded.
"Raiden Shao Kuhn is coming please help her." Raiden quickly bend down to look at this newborn before him in the basket.
He told her "I can find her protection but I do not know for how long". As he said that they heard the doors being slammed. 
Raiden told her " Quickly this way." She grabbed the basket as they ran up the stairs. She stopped in the middle of the stairwell. She kissed her baby as she handed her to Raiden.

She said "Watch her for me please I named her Suofeiya please let her live. My baby be still and don't cry please remember me". She took off her necklace the pendent had blue crystals on it and made a flower.
She layyed it on the baby "So you will not forget this land my dear one do not forget me." As she said that she quickly ran downstairs. Raiden disappeared with the child saying goodbye to her mother one last time.

May 19th 2018
Sophia POV
"Come on Jason get up!" I yelled at my brother as he layyed on his back.  He's so weak sometimes we sprawl like our mother does and he can never beat me.
He groaned as he used one hand to push his dark brown hair back. "I don't get it why you have to fight all the time Soaps it gets annoying sometimes." I laughed at him.
"I don't know I feel it like fighting in my blood you know?" He shooed me away. What a jerk. We heard our maid Leeann screamed "Children you're father wants you both at school he said no more skipping please!" We both listen as we raced out of our beautiful garden into the mansion. Life is good a great white mansion where we live rooms everywhere and help everywhere. I mean we got this stuff with our father being the famous Johnny Cage action movie fighter. Mother always out she's a agent so kinda expected. I ran upstairs to change out of my pj's. My brother and me honestly are too different it sometimes makes me wonder. Like he is the exact replica of our father. Brown curly hair, tall, Tanner skin, and the greenish eyes. All the girls always try being my friend at school to get to him honestly it's annoying. Me on the other and I'm the black sheep.My hair like a dirty blonde it's Auburn at the top than blonde. It goes down to my hips and I put a few braids in it. I've got pale skin and purple eyes. Which always interest my doctors why my eyes are that color. I always wear my necklace it was so pretty always matched me. For today I thing a tied white band tee will do with my plaid skirt and my black heels. Always gotta look good.  I heard the limo honking meaning it was time. Ugh school what a drag honestly. I hopped in the back with Jason. He chuckled. What I do?! 
I asked "What's wrong something on my face!?" He laughed harder. 
"Nah just that all my buddies want to sleep with you and you so easily dress like that." I gasped how rude of him to say!  I started punching his shoulder. He covered up and laughed as I beat him up. Ugh what a day so far.

Sonya Blade Pov
I stood there on the roof looking out come on I know I saw you you gross reptile. As I looked out as clear as day I almost got him I aimed my gun when I got spooked from behind and missed him!  No he's invisible!  I turned around to hurt someone and saw it was my partner Jax.
He asked me "Sonya chill why you flipping." I hit him.
"Why WHY!  Because I knew I saw it out world is here!" Jax stood there with surprise.
"So why are they here the tournament hasn't started yet. I already told my son though he's prepared." Sonya stood there wondering. Why are they here what do they... Than it hit her. She quickly grabbed her phone
"Cage come in Cage where is Sophia?"
He answered back "My darling with our son Jason at school it is a Wednesday after all". She wanted to hit him for that joke. But she knew they found her that was her main priority.
She said " Bring them home now!" She hung up after that. She turned to Jax.
"I need to get home before they get hurt." The past 16 years have been quiet since Raiden gave them the task to watch Sophia. Raising her with Jason was the sweetest thing ever. Jason was two when they got her so it was like having their own family. She would never let them hurt her.
Sophia POV
I walked around school as I always do everyone waving and saying hi not to be all in my head but I'm a bit popular around her. I came up to my best friend Britt.  She was at her locker her blonde hair in a ponytail and in her cheer leading uniform.
I stood next to her "Britt I'm gonna get into fighting what do you think."
She smiled towards me that's surprising thought she would hate the idea.
"Soaps that sounds like a great idea I know the fighting club come with me." She quickly grabbed my hand well okay why so quickly.  She pushed me into the gym.  The gym was empty what?!  I turned towards her she smiled at me.
I asked "Britt what is this why are we here?"
She instantly out of nowhere and I mean nowhere! Pulled out a sword. She laughed at me
"Honestly I've really tried to ignore how annoying you are but you kept getting on my nerves Lin Kuei but I was supposed to watch you finally though you will make a great prize to Shao Kuhn." Who what!?
I stood back as she held the sword up to me.
"Britt what are you talking about!?  And swords are crazy you can't stab me are you nuts!" She laughed as she did her mouth started changing into teeth sharp teeth what!?  I quickly tried running but she appeared in front of me!  What is going on! I freak as she ran towards me stop please!  I don't want to die I threw my hands up and as I did ice came out!  What ice!?  What!?  She fell back. She got back up.
"Ow Soaps really you're just making me want to kill you" I tried running but as I did she hit me with her sword it hit my leg. Ow!  I felt pain and blood fly down my leg.  What am I gonna do. As I tried crawling I heard a gunshot. I looked up to see my family there. Jason and my dad running towards me. My mother stood there.
She said "they found her we need to go."
I got up and stomped my foot "No!  I'm not going anywhere until I know what's going on!" My mother shooked me
"No we are going now do you want hurt more!" No I left with them after that I knew my mother wasn't playing.
Back at the house my mother bandaged my leg.
I asked "So explain now? " My father looked at my mother.
"We have to tell her now Sonya we probably have to train her to fight now or Shao Kuhn will never stop." My mother nodded.
"Well first honey.. " She sat next to me on the couch as she put her hand on my leg.
"You are not my child Sophia." I stood there stunned not knowing who I am.
I screamed "What?." Jason looked as confused as me. My mother continued.
"Raiden the thunder god gave you to us to protect because Shao Kuhn either wanted to use you or kill you for who you are." No she's joking thunder god really. I laughed.
"Wow mom you almost got me real clever." She looked at me with her serious glare that meant stop talking and listen.
"You are the last of the Lin Kuei clan they were a clan of ninjas with special powers. You have a brother who is on our side that's why Shao Kuhn wants to use you. Or he wants to kill you." I'm shocked completely shocked how could they lie to me what! I stood up away from my mother. My father went over to me he put his hand on my shoulder. We always had a stronger bond than my mother and I had.
He told me "Now stop Soaps your mother and I love you very much we wouldn't let anything happen to you or Jason that's why we need to take you where you are safe." Take me what!? I pushed him away.
I asked "Take... Take me where." My father's hands went back to my shoulders.
"Home honey we are taking you home."
