Chapter 13

Lucy's POV

When I finished getting ready, I looked in the mirror and smiled a little. My blonde hair was down for once the fringe hanging framing my face and the back laying down my back. I didn't wear any makeup only a little lipgloss and I had silver star earrings in. The dress I was wearing was a summer dress since it was summer that was white with silver stars on it the skirt reached to my knees but still snuggly showed my baby bump off to the world and on my feet I had a pair of silver sandals. Walking into the lounge room I smiled seeing Wendy and Juvia were ready as well sitting on the couch and waiting. Juvia had her hair done in a low plait that laid on her back she wore a dark blue shirt with waves along the bottom and across the shoulder straps, on her bottom half she had a snug pair of nice sweatpants and on her feet were a pair of dark blue slip on shoes. Wendy had her hair down like me for once, she wore a light blue blouse that showed her bump and then a white skirt that went to her knees that matched her white sandals perfectly.
"I'll get the door," I said as the doorbell went off and I headed to the door.
"Wendy, Eve is here" I called out and looked at Eve. He was no longer wearing a formal suit, instead he had a button up shirt and also a pair of jeans.
"How are you Lucy-san?" Eve asked.
"I am good, make sure you take care of Wendy and don't let her trick you, her ankles get sore if she walks too much. Carla is staying with Sting, Lector and Frosch tonight for an exceed sleepover" I told him and he nodded.
"I promise Lucy-san, I will take care of Wendy. I had Hibiki help me memorise everything I could about pregnancies so I can make sure that she doesn't overdo it" Eve said and I smiled fondly at him.
"I'm ready now" Wendy smiled as she walked to the door and I saw the look on Eve's face, he looked to be in complete awe.
"Have fun you two" I said as Wendy passed me the sky blue roses that Eve gave her and I promised I would put them in a vase in her room as I watched Eve and Wendy walk away with joined arms. 

Getting back downstairs I walked into the lounge room just about to talk to Juvia when I heard the door again.
"You stay sitting I will get it" I said and Juvia nodded as I walked to the door and opened it seeing Lyon there in his normal clothes.
"Ah Lyon it's nice to see you" I greeted and he nodded.
"It's a pleasure to see you as well Lucy" Lyon said.
"Juvia, Lyon is here for you" I called.
"Okay I am coming" Juvia called back.
"Make sure not to do anything straining, she has really sore feet at the moment and no drinking or fast movements and also-" I started making him chuckle.
"You really care about them don't you Lucy? Do not worry, where we are going she will be relaxed and off her feet. I read that pregnancies are hard on the mother especially if it is the first child" Lyon smiled.
"I guess I am being a little over protective" I said sheepishly.
"You are being an older sister, me and Eve both understand and I am sure they are worried about you. With what you guys have been through together it is okay to be caring and over protective" Lyon said as Juvia walked up.
"Okay we will be going Lucy make sure to take it easy oh and I have already told Rouge the foods you can't stand. Also make sure your ankles don't swell, you know they swell a lot more then mine and Wendy's also make sure you enjoy yourself" Juvia reminded.
"I'll make sure to put your water lilies in a vase as well" I said amused and she blinked before looking at Lyon who was holding a bunch of water lilies that were made out of ice.
"Oh thank you, they are beautiful" Juvia gushed gently, taking them and glazing at them.
"They do not hold a candle to your beauty" Lyon flirted and I gently took the flowers as they left hand in hand. 

As I got back down from upstairs again I grabbed my bag that was white and matched my outfit just as the doorbell went off. Opening I blinked and smiled a little seeing Rouge there holding a bunch of white lilies that were my favorite flowers. Rouge was wearing his cloak but under it instead of the normal clothes he had a pair of black jeans on, a dark blue button up and black shoes on.
"They are beautiful, how did you know my favorite flower?" I asked before taking them and smelling them.
"Yukino helped me pick them out, you look magnificent" Rouge complimented and I blushed bright red while I saw a light dusting of red on his cheeks as well.
"Let me just stick these in a vase and we can get going," I said and he nodded. I slipped into the kitchen and put the lilies in a vase and decided to leave it on the dining room table until I got home.
"Shall we go now?" Rouge questioned and I nodded, walking out and locking the house up. 

While walking we talked about how our day had gone.
"I hope this is not too forward but I hope that you will let me blindfold you" Rouge said.
"I don't mind but can you make sure to hold my hand, I don't want to take a chance of falling" I explained and he nodded.
"Of course" Rouge smiled and he gently tied some fabric around my eyes as he held my hand gently and I blushed a little at the feeling of his calloused hands showing he worked a lot.
"Here we are" Rouge announced after a small walk and he took the blindfold off. I opened my eyes, blinking and I gasped. In front of me was the best idea for a date I have ever seen. On the ground was a picnic blanket with a picnic basket on it and it was lit up by a few candles that just gave off enough light that we could see everything and each other.
"I had Rufus help me with Runes so no bugs or other creatures can disturb us" Rouge explained as he helped me sit on the ground and then poured me a strawberry milkshake and a tea for himself.
"My favorite drink" I said while sipping it.
"Minerva helped me after I annoyed her for half an hour asking about your favorite foods. I wanted you to have your best experience here," Rouge admitted.
"It wouldn't matter what it was so long as I was with you" I said before I blinked realising what I said and turned bright red while Rouge blushed bright red as well.
"Shall we have some dinner?" Rouge asked and I nodded as he served us food. While we were eating we spoke of our childhood, I told him about my mothers death and what my father was like. After that while Rouge told me about how he didn't remember his parents and to him Skidrum was his father and all the fun he had with the stoic dragon. We both laughed in places which had me mesmerized at his laugh. 

"The baby is kicking a lot tonight" I smiled rubbing my stomach from where we were laying next to each other looking at the stars.
"Perhaps the baby is happy that you are happy. Which constellation is that one?" Rouge asked, pointing out a cluster of stars.
"Leo, the baby must be happy because of you" I said before shivering as a cold breeze hit us.
"Here we should get you inside I don't want you to get sick" Rouge said worriedly as he took his cloak off and wrapped it around me making me smile.
"Is it bad that I don't want this night to ever end?" I asked, looking at him.
"I won't judge, after all I wish that this night would last as well but it can't. But that just means I will have to bring you on more amazing nights just like this on" Rouge smiled as he kissed the palms of my hands and helped me up. Then he packed everything up and walked me to the house.
"I really have a great time tonight" I smiled at him.
"I did as well....Lucy, I know you were hurt by Natsu a lot and you have your little one to think of but will you think of going out on another date with me?" Rouge asked, smiling shyly and blushing lightly.
"Of course I was hurt by Natsu but now that I think about it, I should have seen it coming. I would love to go on another date with you Rouge" I said. Smiling gently he lent over and kissed my cheek before bidding me good night and leaving me with his cloak as I walked in the door.
"How cute" a voice cooed and I looked to see Wendy and Juvia there with matching smirks.
"How was your date with Lyon and Eve?" I teased getting blushes.
"Perhaps we can go sit first, my feet hurt a little" Wendy said and we nodded as we headed up stairs after I grabbed my lilies and we sat down on my bed wanting to hear everything about the others' dates.
