Chapter 1 ~ Surfing Accident

I woke up in the morning. "Today we go to the beach. I brought my blue bikini just in case. Good Job Skylar." I praised myself.

"Crap. Wait. Scars." I said sadly. How would I cover them up? Crap. I guess I'll have to live with it. I looked at the clock. It was 9:05.

"Knock Knock! Skylar, are you up?" It sounded like Jesse.

"Yeah. I am. You can come in. And if your brothers want to they can too." I said.

"Okay. So you can go get ready for the beach we are leaving at 10, okay?" Jesse said.

"Okay I'll be getting ready. Meet you in the living room." I said as he left.

Now to get ready. I'm going to skip the shower, I'll take one after. I'm not going to put much make up on except a little eyeshadow and concealer for my scars on my arms.

After that I put on my nice blue bikini then u put on a light greenish bluish tank took and shorts over the bikini.

I walked down the stairs to go sit on the couch. Pain shot through my knee and I immediately stood up. I sat down carefully trying not to bend my knee that far. I could bend my knee just at a right angle barely.

"Skylar, anything wrong or hurting?" Ashton asked me. He was sitting on the other end of the couch.

"No. Nothing's wrong. Nothing's hurting, but thanks for asking." I said sweetly.

"Okay. Just making sure." he said reassuringly.

"Hey guys, ready to go?" Tie asked as all the other boys came down.

"Yep." They all said at the same time. That was a little creepy but I didn't care.

At the Beach 10:25 am

"Alley are you sure you and Dallas can get everything out alright? My huge surf board was taking up all the space." I asked Alley.

"Yes I'm sure we can get everything and here is your surf board. Now go have fun." she said, smiling.

"Thanks." I said before leaving to go surf. I didn't care how much my knee hurt. I just wanted to have fun.

I started paddling towards a wave and once I came upon it I stood up. The wind felt great as it whipped through my hair.

I saw the 6 brothers look at me their jaws touching the ground, including Tanner. they looked like they were frozen in place. I smiled an ear-to-ear smile. As I came upon the beach I said slightly loud," Close your jaws you don't want to catch flies."

"Oh my God, you were amazing!" Tanner said. I just glared at him.

"I was amazing when I caused my father to die I guess it what you are saying." I said as I walked into the water waiting for another wave.

"Hey. Look I'm sorry. I'm really sorry about everything." Tanner said.

"You're sorry for me I bet. That I have no family left. I have to go catch this wave now." I said as I paddled to get to the wave. as the wave swept me up I stood up carefully. Suddenly another wave that was faster, taller, and stronger came down and the water crashed right on top of me.

I felt the bottom of the ocean and tried to swim up but something caught my foot. I didn't know what it was but it felt like part of a rope. I struggled to get up to the surface, then I heard I crack. Pain immediately shot up my leg. I tried to swim up struggling some more but the rope just got tighter. I heard another crack and this time I knew it had to be my ankle. I tried one more time to swim up but twisted my ankle instead. Circulation started to cut off from my ankle and I started to become light headed then all I saw was black.

~Dylan's POV~

"Uh guys, she isn't coming up. Ashton, you said your friend was a lifeguard here. Is he working today?" I asked Ashton.

"Actually yes. He's right up there is name is Bryce." Ashton said pointing to him.

"Okay, guys we are running out of time we need to go inform Bryce." I said urgently.

As we got there Ashton said,"Bryce we were watching one of our friends surf and she hasn't come up yet. It's been about a minute. She fell off over there." Ashton said to Bryce worriedly.

"Okay. We don't have all the time in the world. You guys help me find her." Bryce said running at the water and swimming towards where Ashton pointed.

"C'mon. we need to search the waters one of us needs to be near his stand, two search near where Bryce is and two up nearer and one up nearest to shore. Let's roll. Two oldest. Two second oldest and one younger and one youngest. Tanner goes up to shore." Jesse said quickly we went our separate ways then Bryce called out," I need a knife desperately!" Tanner quickly handed to down to Jesse and Jesse handed it to Bryce.

I was nervous as hell.

When Bryce came up with her in his arms I was relieved. But she wasn't moving ..

"She isn't gone. She just blacked out is all. It was a net that got caught around her ankle. I think the more she struggled to tighter it got and I cannot move her ankle whatsoever. I would check it out. It definitely could be broken. She's going to be okay. Who wants to carry her?" He said smirking a bit at his last sentence.

"I do!" Tanner said with want in his eyes.

"Me!" Jesse said smiling calmly.

"I can!" Derrick said with pleading eyes.

"Me please." I said calmly.

"I will!"Tie said smirking.

Ashton didn't say anything. He just smiled and watched us. Bryce made his way to Ashton and said," Go ahead." then he passed her to Ashton carefully. we walked to our cars and explained things to my mom and dad. I was a little worried. She already had stitches that were supposed to be taken out at 4:30pm and it was 1:00pm already. I sighed. Time to go to the hospital again.

When we where driving I noticed a huge scar across her back.

"Hey, uh, Derrick look at this I said pointing to her scar.

"I don't know what to think." he said shaking his head. "What you someone do to such a nice girl." He had continued.

"I don't think we should ask." I said.

"I guess it would upset her." he said worriedly.

"We are here. Ashton you carry Skylar inside." My mom said.

I hope you guys like it so far! I'm sorry it was a little short. I would like to have some other characters into my lil story so fill this out in the comments and I'll pick a couple lucky people! I will tell who I will say @ then who ever I choose.
