6 Years After Y/n's Death

Levi's POV

I opened my eyes, surprised for being able to get an actual good night's rest since the death of y/n. I scoff, rubbing my temples. I heard a bell notification from my phone which had been sitting on my bedside table. Picking the small device up, I saw that Eren had texted me. Unlocking my phone, I read the message I was sent.

"How've you been doing?" I read aloud to no one in particular. I texted back a short reply before putting down my phone to rest my eyes.

I stayed like that for a while, trying to remember the events that had to be done today.

I stayed quiet as I mentally started counting the things I had to do for the day. Once all accounted for, I got my lazy ass out of bed and started to get dressed; putting on a plain black shirt and black jeans. I finished my daily routine before packing my things into a small, black duffel bag and headed downstairs to my car.

While Driving

I slowly pulled out of the driveway and into the quiet morning streets. It was a Sunday morning, so naturally most of the neighbours would be at church or still asleep. Driving at eighty miles per hour, I watched the road in silence, disinterested in what everyone in our group chat was talking about.

Eventually, the continuous buzzing started to piss me off, so I pulled over and checked what was so important that they had to keep spamming me.

'Levi, where are you? Did you forget the flowers? What about the cat food? Seriously, me, Mikasa and Armin have been waiting here for almost an hour!' I sighed impatiently. 'These damn brats.' I thought.

Instead of replying this time, I decided the just switch on to airplane mode and continue my drive. So that's exactly what I did.

At the Destination

I switched off the car's engine, got my stuff and left the vehicle. I saw Eren, Mikasa and Armin all standing out the the large metal gates of Saint Maria's Cemetery. The four of us all walked through, passing countless stones, each for people who have passed away. Although I've been here for the past six years, it still makes me tear up. The fact that so many people, daughters, sons, parents, all died.

I faced the ground before both Eren and Armin, who were walking in front of me. I lifted my head up to see the reason why the two had stopped. There was someone standing above of the very grave we went to see. Y/n's.

The person seemed to have noticed up. Instead of doing anything, they just continued to stare. "You must be y/n's friends." said the person, having said it in a very feminine voice, so I could only imagine it being a woman.

"Yes," Eren replied resitantly. I saw the woman's shoulder start to shake.

I felt a harsh tug at my heart. Cold tears started streaming down my face before I turned around to face them. I looked at them in tears- soaked eyes and said, "It's nice to meet you guys."
