"Yo! Where are you going?"

Jaehwan asked as he caught up to his best friend. The school just ended and Meera quickly packed her bag to leave the place. She was already near the gates when he approached her. "Going To Daniel's." A smile formed on her lips. She was indeed excited to meet him. Every time. Jaehwan smiled seeing her happy. With Seungwoo all gone, taking all the troubles with him, the school days were normal. Actually normal, like how they are supposed to be.

"I'll go with you."

Meera stopped on her tracks. She didn't want him to come. They were supposed to spend some 'quality time' together but having Jaehwan with them will make things awkward. She tried to come up with some excuse but failed to do so. "Umm..we actually.."

"What?" Jaehwan raised an eyebrow at her. Before he could sense her discomfort, she took out her phone to inform Daniel about Jaehwan. "No." He snatched her phone and raised it higher. "I was just letting him know." She argued. But he gave her a look and she shut up. "Okay."

They both took the bus to Daniel's neighbourhood. Meera was quiet all the way. She simply didn't say a word. Even when he tried to continue a conversation with her, she gave short replies. Not because she was mad at Jaehwan but because her mind was busy praying to the Gods for Daniel to clean the place and be fully dressed. She knows that Jaehwan can be protective over her. And now that Daniel and her have had sex once, being physical and intimate with each other was common for them. Even though they did not have sex again, making out was the only thing they did most of the time. It was like that they kept these lustful feelings hidden for a long time and now that they are cool with it, they don't want to miss a chance in expressing their feelings by being physical.

"Do you really not want me to come?" Jaehwan's sad tone reached the girl's ear. She turned her head to look at her best friend with a sulky face. "No no. It isn't like that." She said with a reassuring smile, letting him know that she doesn't mind. She was just a tad bit worried for some genuine reason.

"I don't want you to go in that neighbourhood alone. It's creepy and god knows what kind of people are there." Jaehwan said in his defence. He was right. The locality wasn't decent enough to send a girl alone. And Daniel did ask her to not come but she didn't listen. "Thank you Jaehwan." The boy smiled back at her. Meera felt really blessed to have Jaehwan by her side. Even though she never said much about appreciating him, she always considered herself lucky enough to have him.

"We're here." She said happily. They got off the bus and walked to the small building. Jaehwan was paranoid. He kept looking behind him after every two steps. And then glancing left and right. "Relax Jaehwan." Meera said to calm her best friend. He gave her a 'are you kidding look' but she just shrugged.

"There was a drunk guy at the beginning of the alley! What if he is following us?!" He stood in front of her and shouted at her face. He was definitely scared.

"Jaehwan, that man is busy with his bottle. He woul-"

"What if he kidnaps us?! Or what if he sells us and use us for his needs?! THIS IS SERIOUS YOUNG LADY! YAH WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" Meera ignored him and continued to walk to her destination. Moments later Jaehwan ran after her when he heard some unfamiliar sounds. "Wait for me!"

"You should have waited for me." He pouted while she knocked on the main door. They heard some heavy footsteps and that's when the door opened. Meera just face palmed when she saw Daniel who had a shocked face and lost eyes. He was just like how Meera prayed for him to not be in. He was in his sweatpants. Only sweatpants. And with a long string of jelly between his lips reaching his chin.
