Desire

Celebration part 1

Var had awoken to a bright and soft morning, moving around and letting herself become awake naturally. However, it was not a day Var looked forward to, unlike other cubs, today was the day that her suspicions were to come true. Lilja was just stirring awake as Var began to stand and saunter out of the den to gather the soft daylight that she saw just moments ago, but there wasn't any of Var's normal warm glown in her eyes. Only sorrow and emptiness were in Var's eyes. 

Lilja quickly roamed over to Var with a worried look. Although it did not take long for Lilja to figure out what was wrong. She knew what would happen on this day and Var wasn't prepared for what was to come on this night. For the next daylight it was believed that Var would awaken as an ability user and train under Lilja, but Lilja feared that she would be unable to teach Var. However, Skydda and Korp were to awaken, or be woken by the two women, to go to the center and celebrate Var's twentieth moon. There were also two other male cubs that had plenty of potential for hunting and leadership coming of age today, and those two were friends of Var. Those three were waiting to dance and feast tonight and become apprentices of the clan.

A few minutes past and Var was ready to jump on Korp and Skydda. She looked at her mom, questioning if she could, jump on the two lazy foxes. Lilja gave Var a nod and stood next to her so she could jump on the two lazy foxes. The women nodded as one, two, then three. Then both of them leaped up in the air. Lilja's leap was more graceful and elegant, while Var's was more reckless and energetic. Lilja put herself in a position that she would land on her front paws, and he aimed for Korps belly. If that didn't wake him she would land her back paws on his testes. Var however aimed her front paws for Skydda's chest, and her back paws for his belly. Var had anticipated for this because she jumped a bit higher and farther give herself more time to get in the position that she wanted. Then thwack!

" AAAUGGHHHH, oww -hah- ow." Screeched the two male foxes and the two women landed on their targets.

The girls laughed like they haven't have in an eternity. As the two boy gained their senses after being rudely awoken. As Korp and Skydda regained their vision and saw what the women were doing. They gave the two a scawolling look, but the girls continued to laugh and the boys boys stood up passing glances to each other. Then the two jump on top of the women and tickled to two. After a few moments of pure mischievous and playfulness the foxes rested their backs on the ground and laughed as a family.
