Korp walked into the atmosphere that Lilja and Var created with their dampered attitude. However, Var was quick to notice that the conversation between her mother and herself was over and walked over to greet her father. Whilst Lilja started to amble toward the center of the stark clan. Var notice the Lilja left and took the opportunity to conversate with her father. Korp noticed Var trying to get his attention and invite him to a conversation, and he agreed that they should speak with one another. So he gave Var a confirming glance and the both of them sauntered outside of their den to rock that had a favorable amount of sunlight.
Korp sat down first making sure the area was clear and safe because their kin's den was on the edge of the Stark territory. When Korp decided that the area was safe after a while for his beloved cub. He motion his muzzle toward Var and motioned back to the rock. Signaling Var to climb up the rock. Var instantly understood her father's motion to climb up and then ascended up. Climbing higher step after step of unsteady rock that could break at any point in time. For korp climbing up a rock like this was easy because he had many moons of experience and apprenticeship. However, Var did not have that experience and began to fumble half way up. Korp noticed Var stumbling, but he didn't believe that Var was in any danger and she got her balance back. However when Var was almost to the top of the rock she stumbled again, but this time she looked like she was going to fall and Korp descend down to the rock below Var to catch her before she fell. This turned out to be a good choice because Var started falling and Korp caught her, but the way he caught Var wasn't the best because Var had twist her front left paw slightly. Korp took notice of this and lugged Var onto his back to carry her up the rest of the way.
After the no so long climb, the father and daughter sat down on the rock, enjoyed the warm sunlight, and relaxed after that exciting incident. Letting the adrenaline pump through their veins and settle down, the two let their minds wander.
Korp was thinking about how Var wasn't ready to become an apprentice, she was too weak, and fragile. However, there was an image of her mother being the exact same way when she became an apprentice, and this was all because of her ability while it's developing as a cub it takes part of the cubs health. Var was lucky to have survived this long because she has been very sickly in the past and nearly died because of it, but Var has pushed through and gotten stronger. However, she was not as strong as the other cubs her age. However, Korp put these thought to rest and reminded himself that he needed to have faith. Faith in herself and himself because that was all he could offer besides shelter and food. Though Korp was still worried for the day the his little cub would bring a mate over to the den and ask for his blessing and approval, and how life would be like for his little cub without him by her side.
However, Var's minder meandered on something else entirely different. Var thought about what her mother said and how she would continue on with those suspicions, but Var soon realised that her mother also said to enjoy her last daylights as a cub because they would be the last joys she would have for a while. So, Var had faith that she could enjoy her life guided by Main and live out her cub days in peace. However there was a situation at hand Var couldn't keep her father to herself all daylight because he had to hunt. So Var initiated the conversation an unintentional glow in her eyes.
Var looked at her father with her eyes looking at him with curiosity. " Father, what should I do with my suspicions? I'm asking you a question like this because Mother told me that my suspicions are correct."
Korp was shocked by what Var said even though she used a small amount of words. Korp took some time to gather his thoughts and said with a paternal voice, "My little Var if your suspicions in fact correct then enjoy these times that mother Main has bestowed upon. And most importantly have faith in yourself to find out a solution."
Var wasn't surprised she got that answer, but she was overjoyed that someone had at least had a little faith in her. After thinking for a second, Var put together the right words and said in a calm and comforting tone a simple, " Thank you, thank you for helping me."
After that little conversation which was long time in reality, the two descended down the rock with Var on Korp's back. Then Korp dropped her off at the den and started looking for Skydda to continue training him.
And then daylights continued until the fated daylight of Var's twentieth moon came.
