A/N: So I told myself I couldn't go to bed until I finished a chapter tonight. It is currently 2:14, I just got home from work, so bare with me here.
Harry
Running a hand through my hair I pounded the backspace key several times. I had been trying to type the same sentence for the past hour now and I couldn't get my mind set right to word it correctly. I had to figure out how to write this letter to the parents about their stupid children. I mean seriously, who eats tide pods? But surprisingly that was the farthest thing from my mind.
Instead, Teague is front and center. All I can think about are those long legs draping over my legs and how hard the urge to run my hands up them is becoming. How I didn't pay one bit of attention to that show last night, but instead watched her and thoughts of taking her right there on that couch flooded my mind.
So of course I got up as soon as I could. Teague was my best friend. Supposed to be like a sister to me. And I had come up with a lame story about Shelby not wanting to ride my bike last night, when in truth it was my fault the date didn't work. I know I was a bad date. I hadn't listened to a single thing the poor girl said and checked my phone several times throughout the night. When I apologized, she just shrugged as if it happened all the time.
I haven't had sex with a woman in six months. Teague thinks I am sabotaging myself and of course she was right. And lately all I can think about is following that perky little ass up the stairs at night, throwing her on the bed, and making her scream my name. I bet she would taste amazing.
"Mr. Styles." There was a knock at my door and then Mrs. Burns walked in, snapping me out of my all too frequent day dream. "There is a phone call for you."
"Who is it?" I asked, trying not to sound too hopeful it was Teague.
"Mr. Walters."
"Oh!" I exclaimed, completely forgetting that he was supposed to call me today. The princple was away for a week and called me daily, around this time, to check in. "Please put him through. Thank you."
She nodded and left. Less than a minute later, the phone rang.
"Mr. Walters, how are you?" I answered the phone.
"Right as rain." The old man said the cliche as if it were the most natural thing in the world. The bone I had been starting to get vanished. "Did you get that announcement to the parents out yet, Styles?" He always got straight to the point. I sighed.
"No, sir. Still working on it." I said, running a hand through my hair.
"What the hell is taking so long?" He now sounded upset. This man's temper went from 0-100 so very easily.
"Trying to find that right words." I bit back my tongue on telling him I had no clue how to tell parents that their children were bloody stupid and probably beyond any help I could offer. Or that my mind kept slipping to extremely inappropriate thoughts of my best friend during my work day.
"That needs to go out in an email by the end of this week, Styles." He sighed. "It was supposed to be done last week!"
He was completely right. I had been dropping the ball on this. And I had two appointments with seniors this afternoon about their senior
"Yes, sir." I nodded. Noting in my mind that he was giving me an extension to the end of the day which I had originally thought. My phone pinged and I flinched at the fact that I forgot to turn it on silent.
"What was that?" Mr. Waters gruffed through the phone. Of course he had heard it.
"Just one of the student's phone." I lied. "They just walked in. I have to go."
"Why is Mrs. Burns not catching them before they barge in?"
"I don't know, sir. I will ask later. Right now, I have to deal with this student." I said and hung up the phone, not waiting for a reply.
I grabbed my phone, opening it. A message from Teague.
Do you want to eat me out tongiht?
Wait a minute, what? I blinked a few times and read it again.
Do you want to eat out tonight?
Damn, I really needed to get laid. I typed back a quick "sure" in response and silenced my phone. Then I took a stroll through my contacts until I landed on Vanessa. I usually hated to text Vanessa, the thought of her overly trying baby voice making me cringe. But she was a sure thing.
Are you available tonight night?
If you went back through our texts it was always the same conversation. I knew her reply, before it even popped up.
Your place or mine?
Yours. Around ten?
I wasn't planning on letting Teague know I was even still in contact with Vanessa. After the shit I talked after the first time I brought her home, I didn't want to deal with that shit. I had slept with her three times since then, though. Vanessa knew what I wanted and didn't want anything more.
So I had dinner with Teague tonight and Vanessa after. I was surprised when my phone vibrated again. It was Vanessa again
Oooo Mr. Styles, out late on a school night?
I shook my head, closing my phone, not bothering with a reply. I wasn't flirting. Now knowing all this, hopefully I could get some work down before the seniors started coming in.
