A group of radical pals in the '60s all have their own trials and tribulations to deal with: one's dealing with an abusive husband, another's coping with haunting childhood memories, and the third has to manage with an uncombed mustache. Each of these come into play when a familiar man attacks, sending them on the road with a group of acquaintances. Although Woodstock, the Washington Monument, and a multitude of protests are certainly exciting, nothing is more livening than having to move quickly, which is ironic, seeing as what they're moving away from is looking to take their lives away.
