Never To Late - Chapter 5

It was the next day and you were headed to '007' Room AKA Todoroki. You were kinda nervous because of last night. You were not sure if he was still mad or upset. You planned to ask him why he got mad at you but then again you were not sure if bringing it up was a good idea.

You pushed your cart with your laptop on it heading to the big metal door. You took a deep sigh before unlocking the door with your ID card. Which you got that from your father earlier this morning.

You opened the door to see Todoroki facing away from you. But once he heard you stroll in he turned his head a little to look at you. Once he saw it was just you he turned back twords the wall.

You pushed you cart/laptop to the side before closing the door. “Hey” you said quietly while walking to the medication cabnet to get his morning medications to help him 'stay up during the day' Even though everyone knew that it was just a testing pill to see how long they can stay up. “Hi” he replied rather sadly.

You took a cup, filled it with water, then headed over to Todoroki going around his 'bed' and what you saw was not what you thought. His chest had a big and deep nasty cut. You gasp almost dropping the cup but Todoroki snatched it before you could.

His eyes looked slightly red as if he just got done crying. “What Happened?” you ask, at first he didn't answer he just shackly took the pill from your hand then took it then he chugged his water.

He handed you the cup you slolwy took it back. Thinking he didn't want to speak you went to the sink and rinsed it off. It was a requirement to rinse out a cup before throwing it away.

“When you left last night” Todoroki spoke suddenly making you jump a bit. On the bright side the cup landed in the trash faster. You turn around and saw Todoroki facing you all the sudden his eyes still a bit red.

You stayed by the sink and made eye contact with him to show you were listening. “My old man came in” He said. “Old man?” you ask softly, he seemed to hesitate “Endeavor...he is my” He hesitated again “He is my....Creator” He said the last part sounding a bit more upset.

“Okay. I'm sorry go on” You said. “It's okay, anyway he came in and told me that he knew you were to soft and wouldn't do any experiencemnts on me so he did one himself” He said looking down at the cut. “He put some weird chip in me. And said that I wasn't go last much longer, the night pill you gave me wasn't effective sadly” You looked at him with full blown worry “He want's to see how much longer I'll live” He finished.

As soon as he said that. You snapped.

You turned around and grabbed a Stethoscope a small scalpel and a bunch of white towels with stiches from the medication unit cabnet. White was the only color they had sadly.

Anyway, you turn back around to see a confused Todoroki. You lay one towel behind him on his so called 'bed'

“What are you doing?” He asked.
“Getting that thing out of your chest” You said. “It's probably to late” He said.

You stopped doing what you were doing and looked straight into his eyes.

“Listen, like I said last night. No matter how you came into this world you are still a human to me, You do not deserve to have your life taken by sometime who doesn't even have one and just does this for his own pleasure. It is never to late now lay down” You ordered.

He looked at your eyes in pure shock before shaking his head a bit and laying down. You rolled a smaller towel up and gave it to him. “Just bite this if it hurts” You tell him in a more soft and calming tone to show him everything is going to be alright.

He slowly took it and lightly bit on it.

When you used to go to public school you learned about surgery and stuff like that so you had an idea of what you were doing. All you could do was hope that you wouldn't mess up.

You took the scalpel and slowly reopened his wound good thing Endeavor didn't patch it back up well. Todoroki stiffened a bit and bite on the towel a bit harder.

You took a towel and laid right below his cut that went up and down his chest. You assumed that Endeavor put the chip in the middle of his chest. You took your hands and pressed them on each side of his chest and pulled open his cut slolwy. You looked at Todoroki he seemed to be in pure pain so you started apologizing over and over and over.

You saw a metal shiny thing and sighed in relief glad that this wouldn't last much longer. You took one hand and slolwy took the chip out.

You tossed it on your cart with your computer not caring if a little blood got on it.

You reached over and grabbed the stitches and began to stich him up. You took your last towel and patted the blood on his chest up. Todoroki suddenly seemed to get calm.

He passed out.

Now you felt really bad.

You took the towel from understand him that was slightly blood stained and the one on his chest you threw the towels away along with the chip. You then went back to Todoroki and listeninged to his heart.

It was steady and good. You sighed in relief. You rinsed off the scalpel and put it back along with the Stethoscope. You washed your hands but you couldn't help but smile a bit glad you successfully saved him.

“Thank you” You herd him say behind you this time you didn't jump, you turned off the sink and turned around to see Todoroki still laying there. His head facing you and his eyes low sense he just woke up.

You walked up to Todoroki and smiled to try and lighten up his mood more. “No need to thank me” He smiled for a good half a second before closing his eyes. “I'm tired” He said. “Go to sleep then, I'll wake you up when it's lunch time” He just noded and officially feel asleep.

You couldn't help but smile more of how peaceful he looked. You started to feel like a creep so you sat down at on the chair and looked at celling in thought.

'It's never to late' You say in your thoughts.
