Frost - Chapter 9

"Oh hello there~ good to see you are already awake" Toga came into the room smiling at your sitting up figure on the metal table they use as beds.

You just awkwardly fake smiled back. She went to the cabinet and took out your day time medication and a small cup of water. She handed both items to you. You of course hesitated but didn't really have a choice in the end so you took the pill washing it down with the water.

"Oh twenty! I also have some great news!" Toga said while walking behind her stand for her computer. She took a blade that blended into the stand well and began to twirl it. Which made you uncomfortably worried. "And what is that?" You ask. 

"You are eligible for a power!" She said happily you looked at her with wide eyes. She then took a syringe filled with light blue liquid off her stand and neared you slowly still twirling the blade in the other hand. 

All your instincts were telling you to run. But you knew that would do you no good.

"That means I get to see more of your beautiful red blood" She said as if she was a small child getting a toy of her dreams. You were speechless. And it wouldn't do you much good if you were not either.

You knew you couldn't talk her out of it because you and her both would never hear the end of it Endeavor and your father. Besides one of those two would end up implanting it themselves anyway.

"First I have cut you open, just to double check that your body won't reject it or self destruct" She said the last part as if it was no big deal. "Once I see and deem that your body can probably handle the power I will put this baby into ya right arm" She said holding up the syringe. "Oh I almost forgot!" She said speed walking back to her stand, she put the knife and syringe in one hand and pulled out a sleeping pill from her stand.

"I don't want to be a total bad guy here" Toga said extending the world 'total' as you eyed the small pill in her hand. "I was able to sneak one of these  for you! Don't get me wrong screaming is a interesting thing to hear but I like blood more" She then walked to you putting the syringe, pill, and blade next to you.

She went and got another cup and filled it with water. She walked carefully to you and handed you the water.  "Here take this" She told you and you took the cup from her. 

"Why didn't you just take a pill from the cabinet?" You asked. "They count them~ remember?" She replied.

You mentally face palmed remembering that the doctors and nurses did so.

You took the pill, after toga threw away the cup and removed the syringe and knife from the table. You felt your eyes get heavy but before you closed them and fell asleep you asked the red one more question.

"What... Power am I going to... Get?" You ask sleepy. She didn't say anything for a moment; assuming she wasn't going to say what it is yet you let your eyes close. But before you fell into a short deep sleep the last thing you heard was. 

"Frost"
