Father - Chapter 11

"Wait what?" You asked in shocked. "My father always told me everyone here was made or....dropped off." You trailed off at the last part you hated to imagine parents dropping their children off at a place like this. You felt like you were dropped off, you rarely saw your father and when you did he just glared and walked away before you could say anything.

"Endeavor is my father" He repeated and looked down. "He put my mother in a hospital saying she was crazy even though he knows that he made her that way" He put his hand up to his face where the burn mark was. You always assumed that it was cause of his fire quirk.

"My mother said she couldn't bare to look at me. Because everyday she felt like I was becoming more like my old man" Todoroki sighed but kept his hand on his burn mark he spread his fingers so he could still see out of that eye. He looked at you suddenly which sent shivers down your spine. Because his eyes were dark and sad. You could tell he didn't really like telling his story. "As a result" he said sounding like it was taking all of his might to say this. "She poured boiling water on my face" He said.

You looked at him with shock and sadness. When he first took you out to the hallway to tell you this all he said was that Endeavor was his father. He never mentioned his mother until now.

"I just thought I should tell you" He said removing his hand from his face his eyes going back to normal.

"I'm glad you did" you said with a small smile.

"Me too" He said "I feel like a weight has been lifted off me" He said. "I've told Midorya he just felt sorry for me, Bakugou seemed he could care less honestly but I noticed he started to respect me more, Momo and Uraraka same reaction as Midoryia" He said. You were glad to see him talk more, he has never talked this much before.

"But" He continued "Thoes are not the reactions I was hoping for" he admitted. "Yes Bakugo has gave me some respect but he's that kind of guy who-- well if doesn't happen to him then he doesn't understand. So if he knows some kind of trauma has happened to someone he hasn't experienced before his only act is showing a small amount of respect. But that's new and a improvement for him so I'm just going to go with it". Todoroki shrugged "I didn't want pity either and that's all I got from Uraraka, Midoryia, and Momo" He sighed.

"Ah I see" You said. "I wouldn't want that either."

"Yeah" He said. "But you understand, or at least I think you do. We both have been through similar situations but not exact situations. You are not pitying me or acting differently. You are understanding me. And I want to thank you for that" He said.

"You're welcome" You said with a smile. You took a few steps twords the taller male "I feel like there is something else you need to know" You said.

His heart speed its pace a bit, he didn't know why he never reacted like this before. He has been physically close to her before so why was his heart starting to act up?.

You reached up and put you hands on his face. Your thumb purposely touching his burn mark. "You may have the same eye color as your father" you said studying his redish-brownish eye. "But you have a different look, a different meaning, a difference motive, you have a more better look in your eyes" You then focused on his crystal blue eye. "Your mark isn't just a burn mark it's a battle scar after everything you have been through you still keep on going. Get what I mean?" You say not even so sure your self that's how you felt but that's the best you explain it in words.

He just looked at you with a shocked face expression. His heart speed up even more and his face started to get warm. He was able to keep a straight face he didn't reject the new feelings he had he just didn't understand how to express it. He was about to lean forward cause that's what his mind was telling him to do.

But before he could do that act you let go of his face. "Uh yeah I know what you mean" He said. "Good" you said with a smile. A loud bell rang signalling it was time to head back to our rooms.

Todoroki decided to ask Ura tomorrow about how he was feeling. Because he noticed she acted the same way around Midoryia so she must understand better.

"I'll see you tomorrow Todoroki!" You said happily before walking off in the direction of your room.

He sighed a little feeling a bit lonely as he walked back to his cell they call rooms.
