When I got home later that day, I asked my mom if I could go.

"I dont really think thats a good idea." She said.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Because, you're going to be all the way across the country. How do even expect on how you're going to get there?"

"Two-Bit will drive me."

"No."

"Or at least Randy."

"That guy that tried hurting you?"

I nodded.

"Why would you want to go with him?"

I tried to explain to her about him, she really didnt seem like she was buying it.

"Please mom! Ill be back once its over. I promise!" I said.

"And what are you going to do with Jackie?" She asked.

"I was thinking of leaving her with you. I mean, in the future you're going to have to watch her sometime. Why not start now? Please mom!"

She stood there for a few seconds.

"Ill have to think about it." She sighed.

"Yay! Thank you mom!" I said hugging her.

"That doesnt mean thats a yes!" She yelled at me.

Yeah it does.

I ran out the door, Two-Bit was sitting on the front step. Steve walked up the sidewalk.

"There you are squirt." Steve said rubbing my hair.

"Squirt?" I asked.

He chuckled, "Yeah, I used to always call you that when you were younger. I guess you dont remember."

"I guess not." I said.

"So, whats up Two-Bit?" Steve asked.

"Talking about Woodstock." Two-Bit said.

"You guys are going to Woodstock?"

We nodded.

"I dont believe you."

"I already talked to mom about it. She said she'll have to think about it. Which is always a yes." I said.

Steve went inside, "You told Robin she could go to Woodstock?"

"I told her ill think about it." Our mom said.

"Which always means yes."

She sighed, "Yeah, you're right."

I knew it.
