Because of that she has had many life's. Long story short when she has the chance in her current lifetime/reincarnation to return home to the heavens she meets Trent.

Because she had no choice but to start her life all over again to return to her beloved ones form a past life would put her in danger. So thinking she could finally be truly happy she decides to stay with Trent.

That was a mistake.
