Chapter Eight

Time skip to the boy's birthday...

Ethan, Tony, and I woke up super early to start the preparations.

Setting up tables and chairs, enough for the whole pack out in the backyard.

Then we got to work in the kitchen.

Baking cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and... The Birthday Cake!

It took us until eight to finish it all. then we set it up along with the presents and party games.

Then Tony and Ethan git ready to use the grills.

Today was going to be a day long celebration and people would be showing up soon.

Before they started showing up we quickly went inside and got ready.

Then we went and woke the boys so they could get ready.

Once we were all dressed I surveyed all of us.

Tony had on nice dark jeans and a black button up shirt. Adam matched him.

Ethan had on blue jeans and a blue button up shirt. Kevin matched him as well.

I had on a pair of soft knee length shorts and a pretty flowing red top with a peter pan collar and no sleeves Jackson as you can guess by now matched me, although his shirt was purple and we both had our hair down.

We went with a theme of matching each boy to one of us...

Be thankful I did not choose to wear a dress or skirt.

After we were all ready we met the waiting pack out back.

The boys were having a blast and so was everyone else.

All the children were absorbed with the games and food. The adults and some teens were talking while watching them.

Sheilia could not make it so instead she sent face painters and a bounce house.

It was almost cake and present time seeing as how it was just after lunch.

I had just brought out a shit ton of lemonade, coke, and sweet tea when one of the pack members named Alex came up to me.

Alex

"AnnaMarie...there is a man at the door saying he wants to speak with you.."

AnnaMarie

"Thank you Alex I will be right their!"

Ethan Who just happened to be nearby heard our conversation.

Ethan

"Who could it be?"

AnnaMarie

"I don't know..."

We both went in the back and made our way through the house to the front.

Who I saw waiting in the entryway shocked me.

AnnaMarie

"Trent..."

Ethan

"What are you doing here?"

Trent

"I came to see my kids. It is their birthday you know."

AnnaMarie

"Why didn't you call?"

Trent

"Because you would have said no if I did Anna-"
