Unbreakable Love

It was a regular Tuesday morning, and Thalia was not ready to get up just yet. She just wanted to stay in bed all day and watch Netflix, but her job doesn't wait for anyone. It didn't hurt to take a few extra minutes to be lazy before getting ready for work. 

Thalia is a beautiful, tall, brunette, brown-eyed girl. She is a nurse at the local hospital. She absolutely loved her job because it was something she wanted to be ever since she was little. Now she was living her dream, along with the man of her dreams that has been in her life for past two years. His name was Calum Hood, and he plays the bass guitar in a band. She surely did miss him, even though he has only been gone for a week on 5 Seconds of Summer's first world tour. It is a huge opportunity for him and the other boys, and she couldn't be any prouder.  Sadly, she continues to replay him leaving over and over in her head.

One-Week Ago

Thalia was driving Calum to the airport, so he could catch his flight to Europe. Thalia was trying her best not to cry because she knew Calum wouldn't want her to be sad. Once they arrived at the airport, both Calum and Thalia got out of the car. Thalia companied Calum to the terminal he needed to be at, but the second she faced him, the tears started to fill her eyes.

"Aw Thal, don't cry sweetheart." Calum pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back.

"It's so hard not to though." She snuggled into his chest. "I'm going to miss you so much, babe." She mumbled into his chest.

Calum put his finger under her chin to lift up her head. He slowly leaned in and kissed her. "I'm going to miss you too. I promise to call, text, and skype you whenever I get the chance to."

Thalia smiled. "You really mean that?"

"Of course I mean that. I mean every word that I have said to you." He hugged Thalia tighter as he heard his flight was boarding.

Thalia sniffled. "You better get going. I don't want you to miss your flight." She said pulling away from him, wiping a tear away.

"Before I go, I want to give you." Calum dug into his carry on bag while Thalia raised an eyebrow. "Ah-ha, here it is." He turned back to face her, and she was surprised. 

"You sure you want me to have your favorite Green Day shirt?" 

"Of course, love. I wanted to give you something that would remind you of me."

Thalia started crying tears of happiness and jumped into his arms. "It's a wonderful gift." She smiled. "I also have something for you." She reached into her back pocket and pulled out a picture. When she handed it to Calum, all he could do was smile. It was a picture of them when they first met. "I thought you would love to reminisce the night we met." 

"I love it, babe." Calum gave her a sweet, tender, passionate kiss that felt like it lasted forever. When Calum heard his flight being called again, he gave Thalia a huge hug and one more kiss before he headed towards the gate.

"Go live your rock star and own the world." She shouted at him. 

" The world will be amazed by this rock star's bass skills." He shouted back as he boarded the plane. 

Present Day

Thalia laid in bed and smiled at the thought. She looked at Calum's shirt she had laying down on his pillow. She didn't want to wear it or anything because she didn't want it to get dirty. She wanted to keep his scent on it. His scent always brought her back to reality when she was stressed.
