Agents Of Shield

Simmons rushed into the room and quickly evaluated the cituation. when she saw the life pod in the back of the room Coulson, May, fits and I carried her over and placed her inside. as the machine started to close fear set in and i wanted to tell her i loved her but in a job like mine... lets just say love is risky business.

skye, with the little strength she had, looked coulson in the eye and said," no regrets." simmons closed the rest of the machine and and started punching away at the built in key pad. they machine would be her life support till she was moved and ready to undergo surgery. SHIELD had some of the best medical personel in the world and yet i feared that it wouldnt be enough.

"we need to get her to a medical facility and fast"

"can we move the machine?"

"yes. the problem is getting it out of here and into the plane."

coulson looked at me,"ward... give me a hand."

everyone pitched in and carried that pod into the plane. once it was set in and hooked up may took off and headed for the SHIELD hospital.

It felt like days had passed in reality it was probably a couple hours. When the nurse came out and spoke with Coulson my heart dropped.

"I'm saying you should call her family."

Coulson looked back at all of us, "we are her family."

"In that case... I'm sorry."

The nurse left.

"Sir," Simmons stood up from her chair, "what are we going to do now?"

"Now? right now you all need to figure out how to get her on the jet. Were going on a trip," Coulson left to make a few phone calls.

-|- HOURS LATER IN PLANE -|-

I was sitting in front of our SUV when May walked over to me.

"She shouldn't have gone in there alone. She should of had back up. I should of been there."

"You trained her to be a fighter."

"I didn't train her enough"

"You can't blame yourself and if your going to blame someone then blame Ian Quinn. That bastard shot her."

"I've been avoiding that part of the plane so undone go in there and kill him."

"Doesn't mean you can't go beat the shit out of him."

I gave a half smile to her,"I'm going to go see Skye," I got up just as Simmons called us all down to the the hospital unit placed in the plane."

Coulson said," what is it?"

"Unless we can find the proper medical facility and treatment that helped you sir then she's not going to make it."

"Were almost there. 3 hours maybe 4 tops. Garret's meeting us with Agent Triplet (I don't remember if Triolet was in the episode that saved Skye). They're going to meet us down there to help us out."

Coulson, fitz agents garret and triplet along with myself entered the mountain to get what we had gone there for. It was an interesting ordeal and we damn near got encased in the mountain. I made sure the others were alright while Fitz ran to Simmons to give them the medication, or what ever that thing was.

When I arrived at the little medical station things got out of control and then nothing. The mystery medicine didn't save her and within the blink if an eye Skye was gone.
