Y/N's POV

As I sat on my bed in my room, my mind went back to the handsome god downstairs. No one has ever protected me, why did he?

I didn't see myself as good looking or slightly attractive, I think I'm the opposite really. I used to like how I looked, until my parents and brother started throwing those words at me.

I wouldn't blame them, they simply admitted it themselves that I was an unwanted mistake. The amount of times they've called me worthless and ugly made me believe it.

I was zoned back into reality when I heard harsh knocking on my door.

"Y/N, OPEN THE DOOR!" I heard my dad yell, shit he'll wake him up downstairs.

I rushed to open the door before he creates anymore noise.

"Go get me pizza." He said.

"Now?" I asked, earning a slap to my right cheek.

"WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT QUESTIONING ME?!" He yelled.

"Ok ok, I'll go now. Let me just get changed." I said as I watched him walking away before closing the door.

I changed out of my pink hoodie into a light blue sweater to cover up my scars and bruises. I left my gray sweatpants on though.

I walked slowly downstairs and out of the house, luckily I knew a pizza place that was opened for twenty four hours.

However there was a problem, it was in a really bad place. The people there did drugs, raped, stole, and beat up people for no reason but entertainment.

There were rumors about sighting vampires in this place too. Honestly I find them cool, a myth or not, I think that they're not that bad.

I walked with my head down to avoid all the stares. Some anger stares, some lust. I heard footsteps behind me, I was too scared to look behind me so I sped up.

As I walked someone grabbed my arm and pushed me against a wall. My hands were pinned over my head, I tried escaping but I couldn't.

"Oh look, dinner." The guy said.

"P-PLEASE LET ME G-GO!" I yelled, frightened.

Jin's POV

I woke up from yelling, I could tell it came from upstairs. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs, I watched from my half closed eye lid, pretending I was asleep.

I saw the gorgeous mistreated girl, where was she heading now at this time? I got curious so I got up and followed.

Shit, she was walking to a place full of vampires. She started to speed up, I sped up too. However, before I knew it, she was pinned against a wall by a vampire as she called for help.

I rushed over to them, I pulled him off her and onto the ground. I straddled him and began beating him up, I was a pretty high vampire so I was pretty strong.

"DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T BELONG TO YOU!" I yelled at his face as he lost conscious, getting up and grabbing Y/N's hand and walking away from the area.

Once we were away enough I turned to Y/N, she had her head down.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! WHY WERE YO-" I stopped yelling once I noticed she had her ears covered with her hands, I'm guessing she hates yelling.

"Sorry," I said as I pulled her hands off her ears gently. "Why were you there at this time?" I asked softly.

I never thought I'd ever be this soft, but here I am. The tough Kim Seokjin being a softie, kind, vampire to a human being.

"I d-didn't want to go t-there either I p-promise." She said as a tear rolled down her face.

"Then why were you there?" I asked calmly.

"My dad wanted pizza." She said almost over a whisper.

That's it.

"I'm taking you away." I said as I made my decision.

"W-what?" She asked, confused.

"You're going to live with me." I said.

"B-bu-" she was about to say.

"No buts, now let's go back to your house. We'll get your clothes and then we'll go to my house with my car." I said.

"O-ok." She stuttered.

I waited until she got her stuff, she came out of the house with a hand bag. Where's her clothes?

She entered the car and sat in the passenger seat after she put her bag.

"Where's your stuff?" I asked her.

"In the bag." She said, embarrassed.

"That's all you have?" I questioned.

"Yeah." She whispered.

"We'll go shopping tomorrow." I said.

We started our drive and soon enough we were at my apartment. I wouldn't say it's small, I'd say it's a normal sized apartment.

I helped Y/N unpack and soon she was tucked into my bed in her gray sweatpants and blue sweater. I changed into some black sweatpants and a gray shirt then got in as well after turning the lights off.

I turned to face Y/N to see that her face was lit up by the only light source in the room, the moon. I've never seen a prettier view.

She had her eyes closed, small snores escaping her plum lips. However, there was a handprint on her face. I won't let this happen to her again, I pulled her closer to my chest and snuggled up into her.

I never thought I'd be here, cuddling with a human instead of sucking their blood. Speaking of blood, I could last three days without it.

I haven't drank any blood today, I think I could stay a little longer without it though. I'm trying my best to control myself when it comes to Y/N, she's too precious and I don't wanna hurt her.

I wanna do the opposite of hurting her, I wanna protect her, love her, show her that she's worth anything she wants in this world.

Show her that I care and love her, maybe even mark her and tell her the truth one day. I want her to be mine.

'Anything I want, I get. Anything I love, I protect.'

Was the last thought in my mind as I fell asleep.
