Say you won't let go//Poems for everyone

T'was my all time favorite song,
And when played, I can't help but sing along.
It's the song with lots of memories.
And the most memorable of them is mine and his.

Remember that night?
That night when I couldn't think right.
But then you gave your hand and asked to dance.
I said yes and we had holding hands.

It was an acquaintance party.
Yet I didn't even bother to look pretty.
I was wearing a simple dress.
And on a snap, we were swaying with caress.

Swaying to the tune of say you won't let go
While my head is bowed down low.
I can't look through your eyes,
Coz' I'm afraid I would see lies.

But I was wrong.
Our dance took not so long,
I got shocked by the lights,
And walked back and away because of fright!

Leaving you clueless,
Oh I have done a mess.
I ran back to the table,
For my heartbeat's not stable.

It was beating so fast.
I regret walking back thinking our dance should've last.
I saw you get other girl's hands,
And yeah, you started to dance.

You asked me again for the last time,
I disagreed, the decision was mine.
For a while I saw sadness in you,
But it vanished in just a minute or two.

You smiled to me.
And I smiled back lovingly.
Say you won't let go...
I won't ,you know.

Although that night I went away,
It doesn't mean I won't stay.
I will stay with you.
I hope you will, too.

I kept reminiscing that thing.
I just can't help to smile while thinking.
But I guess it would never hapen again,
I'm sorry, I won't let go even if it somewhat causes me pain.

I won't leave you,
I will just change for a reason.
I'm sorry.
I have to leave myself.
But hey, I could somehow come back again...
...maybe.
