Ethan's P.O.V

I slowly pulled away and rested my head in hers. I could not believe what I had done just moments ago. Did I really just kiss Roni? My best friend? I had never kissed her before, well except when we were little and we did that stupid dare. This time was different. Completely different.

Her expression was blank and unreadable. I wasn't sure if she was okay with it or not, and I feared I had just messed everything up.

"Geez Ethan, I've had better kisses than that", she laughed looking straight at me. Great! Nothing changed. Usual Roni insulting me was all I needed.

"Don't flatter yourself, I wasn't gonna give you my best. I'll let you wonder how it really feels", I lied. At this rate I didn't know how and what I was feeling. I finally understood Gray.

"Haha... no need to wonder. I'll pass on that", she replied taking a step back.

"Whats wrong? You got quiet nervous there or...", I smirk.

"Calm down pretty boy. You don't make me nervous", she stated.

"Oh yeah....", I say walking closer to her. I didn't know what exactly I was doing, nor did I know where this was going to end. I set one of my hands on her neck and brought her close enough for our lips to brush each other's. This was not going to end well, I already knew it.

I felt her stiffen and her bright eyes grew wide. "Is this how Roni gets when she's nervous?" I wasn't sure if I was doing this as her best friend or as something else.

"E....", she began.

I pulled her a bit closer, so close our bodies where in contact completely. I kept teasing her by brushing my lips against her just slightly.

"Ethan, I don't know what you're doing but I'm not Brittney! So move it!", she stated pushing me away.

Great! What did I just do?

"Haha... Roni I was just messing with you. I wanted to see how you would get", I lied.

"Whateverrrrr...", she began but was interrupted by Nessa and Gray barging in.

"Y'all are LAMEEEEEE!!! This was suppose to be a fun hide and seek not just hide and no seek!", Nessa complained falling onto her bed.

Oops! We had totally forgotten about them and they're little note. "Sorry guys, kinda forgot we were 5 year olds again", Roni laughed.

One thing about Roni is that nothing bothered her. Nothing would make her feel awkward. She was the complete opposite of her sister in some way. If it was the other way around and I would have kissed Nessa, she would have blushed or said something like "omg what just happened" instead Roni just insults my kissing. I guess that's why she's more of my type.

"Lameee!", Gray yells again.

"I'm going to sleep! Goodnight!", Roni says covering herself up.

It was early in the morning and I had heard Gray scream about going to breakfast. I was to sleepy so I ignore him. Guess him and Nessa were really hungry so they left without us.

"Ohhh look who's right next to me!!!", I laugh seeing how close Roni was to me. All I got was a groan from her part and I see her roll over. "Oh no, come here baby", I say trying not laugh while hugging her from behind.

"ETHAN ! IF YOU DONT LET ME GO IM GOING TO SCREAM!", she said indeed yelling.

"I love youuuuu", I say reaching to kiss her cheek and running out the bed.

"I hate youuuuu!"

I was glad our relationship didn't change with what had happened last night. I did put it in risk and I'm glad Roni wasn't the one who would put it out there and make it awkward for the both of us. Now all I needed to do was get her out of mind.
