Tulip's POV

I sighed once again, I felt like wanting to grab a knife and stab my throat with it. My head hanged low as I hear gossips about me. "Haha! She's like a ugly fat girl" One of the girls said. "Ew, no one would even think to date this pig" One of the boys said. Their words sting my heart. I know I shouldn't listen to them and stand up for myself but I just can't.. I am weak. Like a soldier who got out of war still alive and left him traumatized because he saw lots of his buddies die and yet he was spared, that's how I felt.

I was being called names and more but I can't stand up for myself, no one stood up for me either. "Look how fat she is! I wonder how her mother even pushed her out" One of the guys laughed. Stop it. "Heh, I wonder why she wasn't a abortion" One of the girls giggled. Shut up. This hurts, being called names, feel like you're a abomination to everyone. Heh, no one would stand up for a fatty. Hardly enough date them. I had no friends, if I did, I am sure they felt pity for me and decided to be friends with me but don't stand up for me.

I ran to the bathroom, locked the doors and hide within one of the stalls. My tears echoed through the bathroom. I then heard a knock at my stall. "Um-hey.. are you okay?" It sounded like a girl's voice but I don't know. "Leave me alone" I said, my voice cracking. "I'm coming in ok?" The voice said ignoring what I said. The door opened, and there revealed a girl with ombre blonde hair and chocolate coffee brown eyes. She saw me and had a shocked look. "Go away. No one would want to be friends with me" I said, tears dwelling up in my eyes.

She then got neared me and hugged me. The hug felt warm so gentle and loving, it obviously didn't feel fake at all. So I cried, I cried like I have never cried before. "What happened deary?" She asked, her voice seemed calm and relaxing. "I-I have been bullied, so mmuch I-I want to die, hang myself" I said through tears. "Hey, it's okay now. I am not here to hurt you" She said softly as she patted my back. "Wh-who are you?" I asked. "Kelly, Kelly Brooklyn" She said with a soft smile. "How about you little one?" She asked. "Tulip" I replied.

"Now tell me what happened Tulip, it's bad to keep these feelings bottle up in a jar, it's good to talk about it" She patted my hair and I cried even more. I told her, I told her what everyone has been saying, what my family is saying about my weight, everything, every time I let one out, it'll always end with tears. She comforted me with words and asked if I want to hang out with her and her friends. I nodded shyly, we got out of the bathroom and everyone was giving us odd looks, but Kelly didn't mind them.

Then one of the girls came up to us and smirked. "Awe, little fatty got a friend" She mocked me. I listened because I can't have the courage to fight back. "Back off Amanda" Kelly grit her teeth, staring intensely at her. "Or what? Hah, you should stop being with her or you'll get fat too" Amanda laughed and pushed Kelly. Kelly did not fall whatsoever but pushed Amanda back harshly, that Amanda fell to the ground. "Stand down, you know nothing about her, you're just pushing all of these insecurities of yours onto her, the only weak one and pathetic one I find is you" Kelly said towering over Amanda.

Amanda looked scared and ran off. "Let's go Tulip" Kelly gave Tulip a smile and grabbed her hand and lead her to the rooftop. They pushed the doors open to the rooftop and saw 2 people, a girl with Ash brown hair and reddish violet eyes was sitting on the ground reading a book, her back against the railings, and there was a boy with messy black hair and brownish black ominous eyes with a eye patch stared off into the distance. I saw Kelly and that girl sitting on the floor, around the school but i have never seen this guy, he seems like a delinquent though I thought with suspicion.

His brownish black eyes met my jet black ones. I turned away blushing. "Yo! We have a new member of our group!" Kelly saluted. The ash brown haired girl looked up and smiled warmly at me. "Hi, my name is Jane, and that guy's name is Wesley" Jane pointed at Wesley who just scoffed and look off the railings. I furrowed my eyebrows and sighed. Rude much I thought bitterly. "Welcome to the nobody's group!" Kelly grinned. "We have nicknames, mine is Kelpy" Kelly said. "And his is Annoyed Weasel" Kelly pointed at Wesley with a smug cat face.

Don't call me that" Wesley said annoyed. His voice was deep and husky not to mention brooding. His eyes shine under the sunlight as his button up white shirt showed a complexion of his toned abdomen. I looked away because he noticed I was staring at him too much causing him to smirk. "And my nickname is Jeanie!" Jane said proudly.

"Hehe, okay, JEANIE" I joked and the three of us laughed, why only three? Wesley did not laugh whatsoever. We decided to do something, Kelly and Jane went to buy pizza and I was left alone on the rooftop with this douche bag. "..Tulip right?" Wesley started. I looked at him and nodded, though he seems to still be staring off at the beautiful landscape we were seeing, his hair moving swiftly with the wind. "Heard you've been bullied why?" He asked, his eyes ominously looked off. I blushed. "It—it's nothing to worry about!" I said nervously.

He looked at me and patted my head with a gentle smile, I don't think no one has seen this side of him, I guess first time for everything. "Don't be insecure or worried, no matter what, I am right here to support you and help you, don't tell anyone though, but I think you're cute" He stuck out his tongue at me and kissed my cheek. "Text me once Kelly and Jane arrives" He waved off, not looking back at me as he went down the stairs. "C—cute?" I asked myself. I guess he's not really a douche bag after all I thought with a smile.
