A/n: Greetings Comrades! And welcome to my first rewrite! For those of you that don't know, this story is a rewrite of a story by the same name on my profile. You can check that out if you like, if you haven't read it.

For those of you that are not well versed in comic book lore, this story takes place after the Flash arc "Perfect Storm" and parallels the Titans arc "Titans Apart"

Now, without further delay, here is "Welcome to Earth-0"

Take two!

Keystone City
10:45 PM

The Flash speeds through the streets of Keystone City. Looking for a crime to stop. But mostly trying to make sense of all that has transpired during the last month.

Although only a day has past since Grodd's defeat, Flash is still angry with Barry Allen. That man, being so self-righteous and self-centered, thought that it was only he that could stop Grodd. That he needed his powers in order to save everyone.

On top of that, Flash no longer has a team to affiliate with. The Titans are suspended from active duty. It was the most appropriate form of action in response to their almost failure against Troia. Atleast that's what the League says. And no one argues with Batman.

And if that wasn't enough, the Flash is trying to figure out who he is in this timeline. What kind of person is Wally West?

Even after meeting with an old childhood friend, he still has no complete answer for that question.

While he thinks this, Wally is running through the downtown area; trying his best to be useful. He stops a mugging. He stops a burglary. He stops on top of the Mercury Communications building and looks out over the city--hoping that the picturesque view will help calm his mind. But it doesn't. Instead, his brain asks how can this situation get anymore complicated.

The universe, although it is not seen as a living organism, does have a twisted sense of humor.

For at that very moment, the sound of a loud, yet muffled, explosion is accompanied by the sight of a person falling out of a Boom Tube nearly twenty stories above the ground. Time all but freezes as Flash watches the person fall. The endangered individual does nothing to stop their descent.

Acting quickly, the Flash runs down the side of Mercury Commuications, across the street, and up the side of the adjacent skyscraper in less than a second. He runs up and over the top off he building and stops in the small alleyway parking lot behind it.
He looks at the person draped over his arms.

The person is a beautiful woman with slanted eyes and lightly tanned skin--features that suggest that she is from a country in Southeast Asia. Long locks of blonde hair cascade down to just above the ground.
Flash quickly takes into account her outfit.

It is the costume of the assassin known as The Tigress.

Normaly, he would have whisked her away to jail cell, but this is no ordinary situation.

For as he is about to do so, Tigress stirs from her unconscious state. Hers eyelids open revealing orbs that are a breathtaking charcoal gray. Being a gentleman, Flash asks if she is okay. In response, the woman in his arms says only one word:

"Wally?"

His name! She knows who he is!
But why? How!?!

Only a handful of people have been able to remember him. And none of them were villians. Not the Rogues. Not Deathstroke--not really. Hell! Even the telepathic, mind-controlling ape didn't even remember who he is!
The only villain that did was Kadabra. And he certaintly did not work with anyone else when exacting his revenge.

With all of these questions running through his mind, Flash settles on one alternative.

Within seconds, he is standing over the young woman as she rests peacefully on the couch in his apartment. He has removed her mask and any weapon he could find without disturbing her.

He also finds a weird glowing and pulsating box in her left hand. It was clutched tightly to her chest. He surmises that it must be important if she was holding it that close to her heart.

After calling up a friend, he quickly changes into something more comfortable than his Flash suit. And once again, he dawns the mask of Wally West; still having no idea of who that man is. Or how this supposedly elite assassin fits into everything.

As if to answer his queries, the assassin wakes with a start. And she is not happy.
