it's been about an 5 months since my dad found out about his cancer

we're about to go find out if he still has it, or if it's gone for now

the appointment was really early so ryan and i stayed home

"I'm gonna be heading back to LA tonight " i said. "that reminds me," Ryan said putting food in the microwave," i got accepted to UCLA and was wondering if we could get any apartment together"

"that would be great. but if your gonna have sex make sure you use protection and go to a hotel" i said

ryan laughed. "ok i will" he started, "but i think ill be heading over there in about 2 weeks"

"ok, ill see if i can get an apartment. if not you can stay with me and the guys" i said

he nodded and took out his food. then he went up to his room

i made dinosaur eggs and went back to my room
( if you don't know what dinosaur eggs are it's oatmeal, with little eggs that turn into candy once you add water or milk)

shortly after i texted bobby

k: hey, this evening ill be heading back to la. do you think you could pick me up and tell kian to come along. tell him ur gonna pick up harrison

i grabbed my laptop and turned on netflix. then i got a text from my mom

m: YOUR DAD IS CANCER FREE!!
k: really?! im so happy!!
m: me too!

then bobby texted back.

b: yea i guess. what time
k: well my flight is at 6:55
b: so like 7 pst?
k: yea
b: ok. lax right
k: yee. see you boob
b: bye. now let me sleep

i started to pack my bag

so it 5 right now. my mom is taking me to the airport now.

when i got back to la, i was gonna go spend time with ryan. not my brother, but ryan higgins, miles roommate

"bye mom. ill see you when you guys drop off ryan" i said. "ok.love you. have a safe flight" she said

i picked up my bags, and suitcase and went to security

once i went through security, which was a huge line, i went to get a water bottle

"now boarding to los angeles. gate 12" the inner come announced

i grabbed my water and got on the plane

i got off the plane. it was 6:45. i texted boob

k: u almost here
b: yea. it's the traffic. we're like 5 away
k: cool. text me when you pull up

then i texted ryan

k: hey boo
r: hey. what u wanna do tonight
k: idc. what about the carnival at the pier
r: yea sure. ill pick you up. send me ur address
k: will do stalker...😂
r: ...ok ill stalk you now
k: no, please dont. my roommates will be like "kam whyd you give people our address!"
r: yea, well imma get ready so ill pick u up l8er
k: ok, bye

then bob texted me saying he pulled up. i picked up my suitcases. bobby, ran out and he took my bags. then kian opened the door

he saw me and i ran up to hug him. i jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist

"i missed you so much" i said into his neck. "i missed you more" he said. i got off him, and we went to the apartment

"so do you wanna go see a movie tonight" he asked. "sorry, im going out with ryan tonight" i replied

"oh, ok. it's fine" he said

we sat in silence for a few minutes

"how's your dad" kian asked. "actually he's great. he doesn't have cancer anymore" i said

"that's great!" bobby, and kian said

we went back to the apartment and i went to my room

i changed to some shorts and a tie dye shirt

i put on my white vans and waited for ryan to get me

it's been like 25 minutes and ryan said he'd be here in 15

i walked downstairs but stopped when i heard kian's voice

"listen here, you better respect her, and i swear if you cheat on her, ill fuck you up" he said. "calm down please. im not gonna ask her out today" ryan said

"ok, but still. treat her right!" he said a little louder

i continued to go down. "oh hey ryan" i said. kian walked away from ryan and moved past me to go upstairs

"you ready to go" ryan asked. "yea" i said. i opened the door and he followed me

"so you liked me in high school huh?" i asked. he chuckled and said, "yea"

"well i wish i had met you cause you're cute" i said. "ha thanks" he laughed

we arrived at the carnival. "let's go on some rides" he said. "ok. but if i puke on you its your fault" i said

we went of a few rides and he won me stuffed animals
"hey, i know this isn't what you ask when you hang out with someone for the first time but-" he paused ,"-do you wanna film a video with me"

i laughed. "yea of course. you're another friend who has a YouTube channel"

"how many do you have" he asked. "like 7" i said

"damn, that's a lot" he said

we stayed at the fair for a few extra hours

he dropped me off at the apartment. "hey since traffic is bad, do you wanna stay here"

"do you have clothes i could borrow" he asked

"yea" i said. "then yea" he said

we went to my room. i went to my dresser and grabbed kian's sweatpants and one of his shirts. "will this fit" i asked tossing him the clothes. he looked at the tag," actually this is the perfect size" he said. "where's the bathroom" he asked. i pointed to the bathroom across the hall. "oh thanks" he said

i grabbed some pajama shorts, and the shirt kian gave me from my birthday

i went under the covers and plugged my phone into the charger

ryan came out of the bathroom, shortly after with his clothes in his hand

he shut the door. i took out my laptop and started looking for some apartments for my brother and i

"do you wanna watch netflix" i asked. ryan nodded. i handed him the remote for my tv

he pulled the covers over him and fell asleep
