"Lily, I'm glad you are here at work. I didn't think you were going to show up honestly...I heard what happened. Rumors spread as fast as Min-seo's legs." A familiar voice behind her caught Lily's attention and she turned around to see Kino, one of the few guys she grew close to at work, slowly sipping on his coffee.

"That's the only comment that's made me smile today. Have you by chance seen him around today?" A lump forming in her throat as she felt sadness starting to rise up from her chest.

"Yes, he doesn't look the best and has been unusually quiet while working on a case the boss gave him. Just keep your distance right now. You need time to heal. We both get off work in 15 minutes, want to go grab a bite to eat or go sight seeing?" As Kino leans against the back of a chair across from her desk, Lily couldn't help but smile.

"I would love to, but honestly I'm probably going to be a hermit crab tonight. Rain check?" Shrugging her shoulders apologetically, Lily stands up and gives Kino a sweet hug.

"No problem. I'll be cashing that check with you soon though, mark my words my work wife!" Making a quick kissy face at her, he smiles as he saw that he had embarrassed her.

"Go before I consider divorce." Pushing him away as she laughs out loud, she starts to gather up her belongings. Before she knew it, the work day had ended. As she headed out to her car, she saw Jinyoung, looking disheveled and tired as he walked a few people ahead of her.

Acting like she didn't see him, she hurried and made a bee line for her car. As she reached the door and opened it, a hand quickly pushed the door shut, startling her.

"Lily, I know I'm the last person you want to see. But would you be kind enough to listen to me real quick?" Her breath catching as she see's him look straight at her, the regretful and ashamed look in his eyes almost too much to bear.
