"I know I said I was going to leave tonight, but I paid for one more night. This place is too breath taking to leave. Plus I'm happy you decided to show up." Jackson says softly, looking at Lily who bit her lip lightly and smiled, but he noticed she looked sad for a split second.

"My ex pretty much proposed to me at the festival. I went, just to be cordial and it happened at the end. He slipped something in my purse and I saw what it was when I got home. I just can't deal with those feelings right now. Plus he hurt me bad, like I'm going to just run back into his arms. I deserve to be happy you know?" Lily says with a stressed sigh, watching Jackson watch her every expression with the utmost fascination.

"Good thing your forgetting all about that stress with a ray of sunshine huh? A possible new start, a dawn of something huh?" He nonchalantly wrapped his arm around her waist, expecting her to pull away as they reach the beach with their shopping bags. As they sat down on the sand, Jackson was secretly delighted when Lily laid her head on his shoulder and didn't want to move it.

"Maybe Jackson....I think this get away is what I needed. Thank you for inviting me. Out of all the girls in the town, why me? I'm nothing special." Lily said wistfully, looking down at the sand as she lifts her head from his shoulder. He turned her head towards him slowly by gently tilting her chin.

"Don't ever say that, just because your past ex treated you like that, means that I would. I adore your dimples when you smile and your laugh when something is funny. I've even seen you upset and trust me, I never want to be the cause of that." Jackson replied, his tone dead serious as she felt the comforting vibe coming from him.

Lily felt something stir from deep down inside and she knew what that meant. Did Jackson stir up the same feelings she started to have when she first met Jinyoung? How could this handsome man almost sweep her off her feet this quickly?

Jackson saw the longing look on her face and nodded for her to get up with him.

"I'll even dance for you if you need to "Cheer Up"..." He smirked and started to dance back and forth as they walked back to the hotel, Lily realizing the song from the group Twice. She couldn't help but blush and hide her face with her bags slightly as he danced around her. He saw that she was truly glowing and he ended the dance as they ended up reaching the hotel room, laughing as he saw her calming down from the dance break in the elevator, he never thought he saw her turn so red.

"You are something else Jackson. But it feels so good to laugh like this. I needed some excitement.." Lily said, putting her bags down by the couch in the room and flopping on the bed to watch a random movie. Soon after, she felt Jackson sit down by her and he felt Lily snuggle close to him.

"I'm a pretty comfy pillow, feel free to hug as long as you like." He half joked, feeling her hug him closer.

"Mianhae Jackson, I wouldn't mind it if you didn't. I feel so comfortable around you. I haven't felt this appreciated in so long." The vulnerability in her voice real, the stress from the past day showing in her voice as she yawns and nuzzled her head against his chest. Before he knew it, Lily was softly breathing against him and he knew she had fell asleep.

"If only you knew how much I want to show you the world. Jagi, why must you run away with my heart this quickly?" He kissed the top of her head gingerly as she smiled in her sleep. He fell asleep soon after, his head lying back against the headboard.

*Back in the city*

Jinyoung debated a long while as he stood at his window, the wind blowing a gentle breeze which ruffled his hair.

"I need to find a way to try and woo her back, surely she will fall for me again. Our history is too great to ignore. I'll text her tomorrow morning, who would ignore a stud like me?" He scoffed, smirking cockily as he thought out his grand plan for the next time he worked with Lily.
