When my eyes open again I'm on my back, constricted on what appears to be a tall bed, the kind you'd only find in a hospital. I can just about see the plume of air I release in front of me in the dim light and shiver.
I pull on my constraints although I knew they'd be tight and as I begin to look around to get a feel of where I am I hear Leon's voice from my left.
"You ok?"
"I'm fine, are you?" I ask, suddenly sensing we're not alone as I strain to see in the darkness I'm surrounded in.
"Yeah..."
Footsteps echoe around us, telling me the room wasn't very large and seconds later a bulb flickers on above me to my left and I'm blinded for a while as my eyes try to adjust to the brightness.

"They're both awake!" I hear in a male voice I recognise and I hear the creak of furniture and then footsteps as I force my eyes to get used to the light.
"Where are we?" I hear Leon ask from somewhere to my left and I look past the skinny man stood between us to Leon who was strapped to another bed the same as I was, and still topless. I'd laugh if it wasn't for the situation we are in.

Knowing he's ok I bring my eyes to the man stood between us.
It's Clive, the handsome bellend that offered to take me to France, and apparently Edwards nephew, highly doubtful though bounds as Edward is actually an Alias for Anton. I doubt this mans name is even Clive, just another Alias.

Footsteps approach from the open doorway next to Leon, the sound of shoes on concrete loud as Clive presses a button on each of our beds, bringing us slowly up into a sitting position and in walks Edward, the pathology scientist Anton Doyle.

His smile is cynical and I wished I could back away from him. There wasn't a lot of things that scared me but this man, he was worse than clowns. And I was petrified of clowns.

I could tell Leon had something cocky to say but it seems he didn't want to let out we weren't a married couple just yet, he wanted Anton Doyle to think he'd won, he wanted answers.

"I heard we disturbed you at a bad time last night" Anton says, seeming amused. I can just see a smirk playing on Leon's lips, it disappearing as the thief doctor looked his way, Clive moving over to the other side of the empty grey room, just watching us. Again I wondered if Leon had a smart ass come back for Anton that he was holding back.

"What is this? What do you want with us?" Leon asks, playing dumb.
"Do you love your wife, Scott?" He asks as he rolls up his sleeves
"What kind of question is that?" Leon asks looking to me then back to Anton
"It's one that requires an answer"
"Of course I love her!"
"And you Chelsea, you love your husband?"
"Yes!" I say, holding back my glare and instead letting the fear show on my face. I'd been captured by a mad man who could kill me if Leon's men didn't get here in time. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared. I'm usually good at hiding it but here I had to show my fear.
"Then lets hope your love for each other is enough"
"Enough? For what!?" Leon asks, pulling yet again on his constraints for show, eliciting a laugh from Clive who continued to stand back out of the way.
Leon sends him a menacing look but Anton stepping forward pulls his glare away and towards him.
Looking away from Leon over to Clive I notice the small table he's stood besides holding needles and arm bands and a dull green coloured liquid in bottles. Could that be the virus?
"You really want to know?" Anton asks, leaning his head forward so it's just inches in front of Leon's
"Please, enlighten me" Leon smiles
Anton scoffs a humorous laugh and stands straight
"I like you Scott, it's a shame you were such easy prey, we could have been friends"
"I doubt it!"
"You have a sharp mind, I could use it"
"Isn't that what your nephews for?" Leon asks
Anton laughs and looks back at Clive
"No, he's not the smartest bless him but he is a ladies man, he's good at wooing even the married women"
"Except for me" I state getting Anton's beady little eyes on me
"Yes, that's why I have high hopes for you two, you seem to love each other very much, I hear you wasn't won over by my wife's charms" He admits, eyeing Leon
"Charms?" He mocks
Anton smiles though I can tell it's an unpleasant one.
