A wind blew. The moon glowed. The river danced. The girl held up the rose, her face concealed under a ragged cloak. An owl hooted. Suddenly, a petal fell. It was so small, yet it seemed to silence the world as it twirled through the air. The girl fell with a horrible scream. A angery gust of wind roared over the valley.

The fox on the hill bowed his head. So.... the prophecy was true, he thought.
Then with a quick flick of the tail, he disappeared into the mist.
