"My name is Mun Cheongwon! It's such a pleasure to meet you!"
Jihyun couldn't move. He was captivated by that smile; that bright, confident and radiant smile that made his knees weak and his heart accelerate. He got lost staring into those golden hues that haunted his dreams, he wouldn't mistake them for anyone else's. It was like staring at the sun, but instead of being blinded, it warmed his entire soul. His eyes flickered with happiness. He finally found her again.
"Jihyun," Jumin tentively whispered, moving closer to his best friend so no one could hear what he was saying. "You're drooling."
"Wh-what...?!"
The turquoise-haired young artist wiped his mouth with his sleeves quickly as a radiant shade of red crept onto his cheeks. Jumin sighed quietly.
"Welcome to your first English class, Mun Cheongwon. Which major are you in?" The professor asked, seemingly curious in this new student. Her answer came almost immediately.
"Art Major, sir!" Cheongwon responded in an impeccable English that left quite a good first impression on the said professor. Some of the boys started whispering among them, taking interest in the new beauty.
She's in Art like me! Jihyun thought with relief and excitement. This would mean only one thing; she was going to be in the same classes as him! What more of a perfect chance to strike a conversation!
That is, if he had the guts to.
Cheongwon picked a seat that was vertically a few tables from where Jihyun was. He didn't miss her glance towards him along with a sneaky hidden smile as she sat down, making his heart do cartwheels. And much (or not really) to Jumin's suprise, the best Art student in the whole university did not pay attention to one single word the professor said that period.
"We should talk about this....crush of yours." The raven head said as he put his school supplies back into his bag, the bell rang just a second ago and he had to hurry to his Bussiness classroom which was all the way up the top floor.
Jihyun startled, dropping his textbook at the mention of the word "crush". It wasn't that he wanted to deny it; it was the truth that he never stopped thinking about her since 13 years. But the fact that his said crush was right there, in the same room and just a few meters away from him and Jumin please be quiet oh my god she's coming this way....!
Cheongwon carefully picked up Jihyun's textbook and handed it to him with a kind smile. He would have stoo there like a frozen statue if Jumin hadn't nudge him lightly with his elbow.
"Oh-oh-OH! Th-thank you, uh..."
"You're welcome!" She gigled. Someone please dig a hole so he could jump inside and hide, her laugh was just too cute! "Do you remember me? We talked once when we were in first year highschool!"
"O-of course, I-I could never forget your smi- you! I mean! How could I have forgotten?! Hahaha...."
The young artist could feel his best friend deadpan stare at his stuttering and fidgeting. Jumin cleared his throat before extending out his hand as a form of polite greeting in the high society. He should save Jihyun from embarassement before it got worse.
"Good morning. I'm Han Jumin, Bussiness Major. This is my childhood best friend. He's in Art just like you. Why don't you introduce yourself, Jihyun?"
