Ashley's POV
We were at the restaurant and we laughed for a bit. This is what I have missed for a long time. Yet it made no sense without him there. I will only hope that he will come around.
" So Ash,what have you been doing lately, and not coming to me?"
" Uh, I really don't want to talk about it Shade, it is personal."
" Well you can tell me anything and you know that. So why not now?"
" You are only 20 Shade, you aren't old enough for me to tell you."
" Oh really and why is that?"
" I am 27 and you are 20, to me you are a teenager and an adult doesn't need to be telling a teenager things." I frowned at her.
" Really Ashley, you know I used to remember that you would tell me everything that your mind held, even if it was about a girl you liked. Now I am wondering where the old Ashley Purdy went.
"Shade I can't wait for you to really understand my life.. But obviously you never will. Goodbye Shade." I got up and left without saying another word, why can't she understand... Life is hard but trying to figure things out is harder.
