The substance the Anti Vampire Army (AVA) use to make the weapons used to combat the vampires is the strongest substance known to man. It was discovered in Antarctica almost a hundred years ago during the time the Antarctican base was being constructed. They came across it deep underground, buried in ice. It was practically impossible to penetrate it, until they decided to use heat. Prior to it's discovery, Tungsten (w) had the highest boiling point of 5930 degrees Celsius and a melting point of 3422 degrees Celsius. Icynnium, however, has almost twice the boiling point with 11620 degrees Celsius. It is the hardest and densest substance to ever exist, and there is a large deposit of it under the ice in Antarctica. The then head of the organisation named it Icynnium because of how it looks like ice. A huge amount of it was secretly excavated and shipped to all the bases of the organisation around the world, and is used to make all their weapons. It is also a major component of most of their vehicles and aircraft.

Icynnium is very dense. Osmium used to be the densest metal with around 22 grams per cubic centimeter, twice the density of lead. Icynnium has a density of about 63 grams per cubic centimeter, almost three times that of Osmium. Owing to that fact, weapons made from Icynnium are considerably heavy, making it impossible for normal humans to wield. Also, the procedures involved in excavating, transporting and smelting Icynnium are all mechanized, carried out either by self-operating machines, or machines operated by man.

The modes of transportation outside the bases include Humvee, tanks, motorcycles, submarines, jests, helicopters, among others. Sometimes, cargo planes such as the Boeing 747 Dreamlifter is used to transport vehicles to and fro the base when necessary. There are large reserves of fuel in the base which has been stockpiled over the years. The base itself runs on solar and wind energy.

There are varieties of weapons employed for their battles with the vampires. All the weapons that require propulsion, such as crossbows, rifles and guns use Compressed Air Technology (CAT), making it possible to fire projectiles at a very fast speed. This is necessary in order to match the speed of vampires. Normal guns wouldn't be able to hit them. The previously fastest firearm bullet was the .220 Swift at about 1200 meters per second. The Weapons Development Department of the AVA started working on faster weapons to combat the vampires and about eighty years ago stumbled upon CAT. Further significant advancements have been made; the fastest CAT bullet zooms at a whooping 2850 meters per second, and the fastest crossbow arrow moves at about 3020 meters per second.

Slashing and stabbing weapons such as knives, swords, spears and the likes are made entirely from Icynnium, except for the tips and edges which are heavily coated with silver. When a vampire makes contact with silver in any form, it burns them. An experiment was conducted some years back on a captured vampire; a silver coin was placed on a vampire strapped to a chair. The coin gradually drilled through the vampire, sizzling as it went, like it was concentrated Tetraoxosulphate(VI) Acid. This made it evident that when a vampire has any direct contact with silver it is disastrous for them. Also when a vampire is slashed or stabbed with a silver edged weapon, it doesn't heal completely, rather it leaves an almost permanent scar. Also, merely piercing the heart of a vampire may not kill it. If there is enough human blood in its's system, it may heal the wound. The quickest way to exterminate a vampire is by decapitation, this severs the connection between the brain and the rest of the body. There's no coming back from that.

The last prominent weapon used against the vampires is SG, which stands for Silver Grenade. Tiny shards of silver are forced and compressed into a small container, which explodes when the wielder wishes it to, expelling the silver out at an immense speed. When a vampire inhales these pieces of silver, it burns them internally, damaging their respiratory system. Although, this may seriously disorient a vampire, it mightn't kill it. One will need to deliver a finishing blow to be sure.
