It's Hermione's eighth year at Hogwarts. The aftermath of the war is still unforgotten, but there's a buzz of chaos that is further thrown into upheaval when the replacing Headmistress McGonagall orders a re-sorting of all students to promote inter-house unity. This comes as a shock to everyone.
Despite her pleads the Sorting Hat sends Hermione to Ravenclaw without Harry or Ron and instead with Draco Malfoy.
Although previously detesting Draco, she begins to see him in a new light. A hauntingly bright, grasping light. And with that she slowly begins to become infatuated.
Infatuated? Dangerous?
