Chapter 1

Calum's P.O.V

June the 3rd, the day when me and my band mates were off to the UK to support One Direction on their Take Me Home tour, I was feeling pretty excited at first as I never been to the UK before and so this was a first experience for me and of course for the other lads, Luke, Ashton and Michael.

But then again I was feeling a bit gutted that I will not see my beautiful girlfriend Lauren Smith, we have been dating for quite awhile now and things are going great.

She is so supportive of me and my dreams of consuming to be in a punk rock band. She knows how much 5 Seconds Of Summer means to me and I don't know what I would of done if I didn't have a girlfriend who didn't get that, so you can say that I am lucky.

Our flight was leaving the airport at 5pm so we woke up at 7am doing last minute stuff. I was the only one In the band who is in a relationship while the rest was single and ready to mingle.

The door bell rang and Luke was the first one to get up and said "I'll get it!", bless him for being so excited about this trip. As he opened the door, I heard my name being shouted by Luke, "CALUM!, IT'S FOR YOU" after he had practically shouted his lungs out I pulled on a fresh top over my body and walked out of my messy bedroom.

As I skipped downstairs, Lauren was at the door with a little present besides her.

"Hey baby, how's it going?"
"Oh nothing much, just going to wave my boyfriend goodbye whilst he gets to travel the world leaving me behind" Lauren said in a sad but sarcastic tone.

"Aha I'm sorry, but I promise I'll get to call and Skype you whenever I get the chance okay Hun?"
Lauren looked up at me with her puppy dog eyes, "Don't apologise, I'm just happy that you are finally living your dream and do you pinky promise Cal?"

"I pinky promise" I said to her whilst wrapping my pinky onto hers.
She then pulled me into a massive hug then pulled apart from me giving me her little gift.

"This is for you, I hope you like it"
I tore the wrapper apart and saw a pictured framed of us two at the fair in the kissing booth.

"This is so sweet of you Lauren, thank you, now I can just look at this perfect picture of us whenever I am missing you" I said kissing her pink tinted soft lips.

It was now 4'o clock and we all headed off to the van putting our suitcases away.
"Are we all ready to go now?" Asked Ashton.
Michael panicked saying "No! Um wait I need to bring some food with me for the journey"
Luke signed saying "Oh come on Michael, it only takes 10 minutes to get to the airport"
"I don't care, If I want to eat then I shall eat!" Michael said barking back at Luke

Before they could even start arguing I stepped in saying.
"Come on now boys, let's not fight over something silly and just enjoy this opportunity yeah?"

They both nodded and made peace with each other and headed into the van.
"I think you will have to do that a lot more on tour" Lauren said giggling.
"I Hope not baby"
"I'm going to miss you Cal"
"I'm going to miss you more"
"Promise you'll Skype me?"
"I promise"
"Pinky promise?"
"Pinky promise"

And with that we hugged and kissed each other for the last time for ages. As I hopped into the van and fastened my seat belt, I turned and waved at Lauren who was trying so hard not to cry.

It kills me that I won't be able to see her perfect face for 5 months, but I know that I will have to do this as I will be going away from home more often now that I am getting famous.

heyy guyssssss, so this is my first fanfic and i just wanted to try something new ya know. im sorry that it isnt good so far but this is just a new thing for me:') just found out aswell that 5sos will be coming to my hometown in Cardiff for their tour next year which i am so excited about ahhhhhh the pressure is on to get those tickets!!. Tell me guys what you think of the first chapter and if there is any hate then i will block you. will give shoutouts to people who comments nice things aswell, hope you guys like the first chapter, love you:D x
