The Amazing Spidey-Beca's Last Stand

Working together, finding some answers

A/N: Hello readers! It seems Part 2 has had kind of an odd pace so far, but it also seems ur all enjoying it which makes me glad and I hope you all continue to do so. The last chapter was quite the thrill ride and this one is gonna continue to move things forward. So, let's not wait any longer and get this train ride rolling.

A couple of hours after the fight, and after she and Tony got patched up and did some digging, Beca returned to her home, where her loving wife was waiting for her. "Hey" Chloe, despite how pregnant she was, bounced up from the couch at the sound of Beca entering the door and greeted her with a warming hug. "Woah, ur....a little stimulating" she noted after feeling the shocks on her arms. "And you have....sand in ur hair" she furrowed her brow confusenly.

"Yyyeeeaa, I figured that much" Beca grimaced with a nod.

"So is everything ok now? Or...."

"Well, nobody died" Beca assured on a positive note.

"But?" Chloe raised an eyebrow.

"But, we were basically pummeled by a guy made out of sand and another who can control electricity" she continued frustratedly.

"Wha-where do all these guys from?!" Chloe wondered.

"I have no clue, but that's not even the half of it" she noted as she and Chloe went over to the couch. "Uh, is Amy still here?" she checked.

"No, she had to leave early" she replied as they walked hand-in-hand in front of the couch. "Why?"

Beca brought her wife down with her to the couch and answered. "Bumper was the guy made out of sand"

"What?!" she bulged her eyes in shock.

"Yea, he calls himself the Sandman now, and you would not believe the things he could do" she stated.

"But how? Or why would he do this?" she asked. "I mean he's always been a little off, in a good way or bad, but this is way past that"

"I wish I could say, it definitely isn't some type of mind manipulation like with what happened to Benji" she noted. "And that other guy, the one who calls himself Electro, is actually our old D.S.M. pal, Pieter Krammer" she continued notably.

If the news about Bumper didn't catch her off guard, this certainly did. "That was him?!" she asked and Beca nodded. "Oh my God, I can't believe that" she sighed. "Whatever happened to Da Sound Machine anyway?"

"Well, me and Tony did some digging before I came back here" she began to explain. "As it turns out, they weren't just an excellent acappella group, they were also part of a smuggling ring"

"Seriously?!" she bulged her eyes again.

"Seriously, and from what we found on them, they're quite the science wizes" she continued with a knowing look shot at Chloe.

"Ur thinking this leads back to Otto Octavius, aren't you?" she nodded.

"It has to be, Amy's dad did kind of hint that there were others after all, and it's really the only explanation and too big of a coincidence" she stated notably.

"Didn't Tony ever catch him?" Chloe wondered.

"He got close, but then Octavius just slipped away somehow" Beca answered. "He's not just a mad genius, he's a sneaky son of a bitch"

"He must be if he can slip away from Tony Stark like that" Chloe replied. "So what're you gonna do now?"

"Doctor Connors" Beca stated. He was somebody that Beca and Jesse had spent the early part of their high school senior year working for, and was also the first ever super villain she fought before she even knew Chloe. She and Jesse helped him develop a serum that turned him into a giant lizard and almost created a reptilian apocalypse, until Beca stepped in and saved the day. Since then, doctor Connors has been serving his sentence by working with Tony Stark in the hopes of redeeming himself. Beca and Chloe haven't seen him since nearly a year ago when he decided to catch up and needed help with something.
