When we got to the ice cream place, Daniel and I went to look for a booth that was big enough while the others ordered their ice cream. When we all got our ice cream we sat down. Corbyn sat next to Christina, I sat next to them with Daniel. Across from Daniel was Jonah, then Kyla, Jack, then Zach.

Kyla's POV

As I'm enjoying my chocolate ice cream I feel a warm hand on my thigh. I instantly look down to notice that the hand belong to my best friend... Jack... I slowly scoot closer to Jonah which makes Jacks hand fall to the booth seat as he side eyed me.  Jonah looked at me and started smiling as I did the same.  he obviously noticed I scooted closer to him.  as we were leaving I felt someone grab my wrist and pull me back. And of course it was Jack...
"Kyla" Jack said
"Whats up?" I said
" I need to tell you something"
" yes???"
" I really like you and I thi-"
I cut him off
" Jack I love you but only as a friend I'm sorry buddy but I'll always be here for you okay?"
" o-o-okay" he said walking away.

Jonah's POV

I noticed Kyla and Jack talking after we all were leaving the ice cream shop. I instantly got nervous that Jack had caught feelings for Kyla and was going to ask her out since they already know everything about each other. Then as I looked back at them Jack was walking away angrily but really sad. I felt bad but relieved to know that if he asked Kyla out she probably said no. I walked up to Kyla and smiled and asked if everything was okay all she did was start silently crying.  I grabbed her shoulders and pulled her into a hug when we separated I crapped her hand and we all got in the car and went back to the why don't we house.
At the house

Belle's POV
" Hey Daniel" I said
"Yeah" Daniel replied
" did you see Jonah and Kyla at the ice cream shop?"
" no why?"
" it's just they were holding hands before we got into the car but I thought her and Jack were things so I didn't say anything."
" wow guess I missed it and no Jack and her are just best friends."
