III. tyler down

Zach and his friends walked me to the office, they told me to avoid Bryce and his friends. Apparently they don't treat girls- or anyone for that matter- well, but if he try's talking to me again they'll defend me. I have to admit I was really confused, he was just acting a bit creepy, but I'm sure there's more to the story. There always is.

The group in general did seem really nice- Hannah and Jessica were sweet and Alex was hilarious. Clay seemed like one of those awkward, adorable nerds and Jeff was also really nice. Justin seemed chill too but he didn't talk to anyone much besides Jessica and Clay. Zach was very protective- like he got rid of Bryce for me but was also very careful and gentle with Alex. Alex had a cane and couldn't walk very well, I didn't want to ask why because you just don't do that kind of thing, but if I talk to these guys more I'm sure I'll find out.

We got to the office and a girl with short black hair walked up to us and held out her hand, "You must be Elle- welcome to Liberty High! My name's Courtney Crimson."

I shook the friendly girl's hand and introduced myself, she obviously knew Zach and the others as well, as she had a quick conversation before handing me my schedule and starting the tour.

I sat in History bored as fuck, we were watching a film and most people were talking. Unfortunately for me I joined mid year and it was my first day, so no one was keen to talk to me. Jeff from earlier was in this class, but he was too far away and talking to some other jocks. A guy called Ryan that Courtney was in here too- but he seemed a bit.. pretentious and difficult to talk to. So maybe I'll introduce myself properly another time.

I carried on watching the film, time was going b so slowly and it was so close to lunch. I wasn't excited about lunch- as I had no one really to sit with. But anything is better than this. My thoughts were suddenly interrupted with someone tapping in my back, I turned around to see a curly haired boy in a red shirt smiling at me,
"Hey you're Elle right? New here from England?"

"Umm yeah. It's weird that you know that... Hiw do you know that?"

"Oh I heard you talking to Zach earlier, after he saved you from Bryce. I wouldn't talk to Bryce or his little following if I were you."

"Yeah I've been told- I wouldn't want to anyway. So, who are you exactly?"

"Oh of course, my bad, I'm Tyler Down."

"Well, nice to meet you Tyler."

"Nice to meet you too."

It was finally lunch time. After what felt like a century in History. I packed away my things into my back pack and left the room with the rest of the class. I just about remembered where the cafeteria was from my tour earlier, but just followed the crowd and ended up there anyway. Once I got there I stopped and looked around a little bit, assessing the area and trying to work out where to sit. My thoughts were interrupted by someone putting their hands on my shoulders, I turned my head to see Jeff,
"You sitting with us?" He asked, also looking around in search for his friends or an empty space for them to eventually sit
"Well I have nowhere else so yeah, if that's okay?"
"Of course- you seem pretty chill— oh look over there it's Clay and Hannah."

Jeff and I made our way over to Clay and Hannah and sat down so we were facing them. It wasn't long before the others all got to the table and we were all talking. Despite only being here a few hours, it already felt like home. And I already felt like these were good people I could trust.

AN time real quick!! So this chapter was lazy and filler- but I feel like I should explain some more things; so as you can tell I'm not following the cannon story, or making up my own story either. Instead I'm blending the two- making it up and using pieces of the cannon that make sense in my story. So basically in this book Alex did attempt suicide, and just like in the show it didn't work and now Zach's taking care of him.

However because there isn't tapes and Jessica and Hannah can't/don't feel comfortable coming forward Justin stopped hanging out with Bryce because of the rape and Zach because in this him and Justin were closer and he was worried about Alex [#zalex ;))]

So basically Zach and Justin hate Bryce and Alex attempted suicide but survived it :)
