Start the Rush Part 5

Carlos cracks it and I hear, "Can I come in?" Kendall asks.

Carlos looks at me and I shrug my shoulders so he lets Kendall in. He looks at Carlos, "So I guess you know to huh?" he asks.

Carlos and I look at him confused, "What are you talking about?" Carlos inquires.

Kendall walks over to the bed, helps me up and places his hand on my stomach, "That I'm going to be a daddy." he says with a smile on his face I have never seen. 

Carlos and I are taken aback and not sure what to say or think for that matter. We are both standing there with our mouths on the ground. 

I start to laugh, "Kendall that was just a bluff. I was just trying to get him to leave me alone." I say glancing at Carlos who gives an affirmative nod.

Kendall shakes his head, "Carlos can you give us a minute?" he asks.

Carlos kisses me on the cheek and excuses himself. I sit back down on the bed with a million thoughts running through my mind.

Kendall sits next to me, turning to look straight at me, "I know Carlos knows and you can't lie to me. The other two may not pay much attention to what you do or how you act but I know Carlos does because I can see how much he loves you. Are you really going to sit here and tell me I'm wrong?"

I do what I do best and try to get around the question, "I know Carlos is in love with me. He has been for years but I don't see how you think I'm pregnant." 

He laughs, "You don't pay attention do you? I may not know you as well as Carlos but I know you a lot better than you may think. I pay attention to you and whats going on with you. That's how I know this is all bull. Now the real question here is whose is it."

Without thinking I slap him. He starts to laugh, "Exactly." he says. He pulls me to him and I'm fighting the whole time. He continues, "I know how to push you to just the right point. I knew if I made you mad enough the truth would come out even if you didn't want it to. I know you well enough to know that the only person that you could have been intimate with in this house is Carlos but I also know you well enough that I know you wouldn't do that knowing how he feels about you. You and I haven't been together yet so that only leaves one person."

I collapse in his arms, "Please don't say it."

He lifts my head so our eyes are locked, "Don't worry I won't and your secret is safe with me. Now the real question is what do you want to do about it?"

I look at him confused, "What do you mean? I will NOT kill my child because its father is a piece of crap!" I shout through my tears.

He smiles down at me, "I would never ask you to but you do have options."

Just in case he didn't understand me the first time I repeat, "I'm NOT getting rid of this baby!"

There was a light tap at the door, "Suzy is looking for her momma." Logan says.

I turn to the door, "I will be right out." I say.

I start for the door but Kendall grabs me, "Do you have someone that can watch Suzy for a few days? Someone, somewhere that you know she will be safe and we can get away to figure this all out without all the distractions?" he asks.
