Go follow Huey_Duck (wrote Huey's parts)
(I wrote Dewey's parts)
Huey sighed as sat on the couch reading his junior woodchuck guidebook. He only got through one page of his book when he got uncomfortable... again. Sighing once again, Huey adjusted his position again. He just couldn't find the right position to read in.
Groaning, he let the book fall flat on his face and beak. "Why can't I get comfortable?!" he groaned again, this time louder, forgetting that Dewey was sitting next to him, trying to watch the T.V.
Dewey looked over at Huey and then back at the TV. "You okay?" He asked. "You've been moving around a lot."
Dewey sighed and decided to turn off the TV in hopes that his brother would talk to him.
"What's wrong?"
Huey lifted the book off his face just a little so he could see his brother's face. "Just uncomfortable... I don't know why Uncle Scrooge chose this couch... I haven't even read one page..." Huey grunted in slight pain as he tried to sit up. "I'm fine, though..."
He gave him a small smile. "Just... fine."
"You sure? Cause I think this couch is okay." Dewey responded, he sat up straight as he faced his brother. "You're not getting sick or anything, right?" He asked.
Huey thought about that for a minute. Was he getting sick? He felt his forehead just to make sure. "I'm not sure anymore, Dew..." he took a deep breath, suddenly feeling a bit rundown. "Do I feel warm?" he asked, looking at his brother exhausted.
Dewey reached out and touched his brother's forehead. "Just a little actually, you look tired too. Are you sleeping okay?" Dewey looked at Huey, he looked extremely tired. 'I hope he's okay, this is really worrying me, I've never seen him like this.' The blue triplet thought to himself.
Huey coughed into his arm, finally feeling his body shut down. "Not really... I've been feeling like this for over a month now, but..." he coughed again. "...it's never affected me this much before." Huey looked at his brother, seeing the worried expression on his face. He didn't know what else he could say.
"A month!? Are you serious!?" Dewey questioned. "How come you haven't said anything!? You need to stop being so selfless Hue, seriously, you're gonna end up worse than you are now if you continue." Dewey had began sitting down on his knees. He looked down in worry and slight disappointment.
Huey was taken aback. He wasn't expecting his brother to freak out like that. "I-I..." he lost his voice there. He wasn't sure why... maybe it was because of how weak he felt, or maybe it was the realization that Dewey was disappointed in him... more or less, Huey knew that it was because of both those things. The eldest triplet averted his eyes from his brother, scared to look him in the eye.
The middle triplet sighed and looked up at his brother. "You should probably get some rest Huey, we have school on Monday." Dewey got up from the couch and looked back at Huey. "You need any help?"
Huey kept his gaze anywhere besides at his brother as he just nodded silently. His mind not lost in thought, but lost in the abyss of hate towards himself for how he had disappointed his own brother.
Dewey put a hand out for Huey to grab and helped him off the couch. "So tell me, what is it you're feeling?" Dewey asked. He had been paying attention to Huey's 'big brotherly worries' through out the years to try and figure out what exactly was wrong with his brother.
Huey tightly gripped Dewey's hand, a bit nervous that he might pass out or something. "I uh... I feel dizzy most of the time... my legs will sometimes give out, and-" he cuts himself off as he almost falls to the ground, but he regains himself and keeps walking with Dewey's help. He continued. "...and my body will just be in pain for most of the day..."
